The search is a huge improvement. Would like to see a few filters added, search for unknown, price range per unit.

Thank you for adding the native search. Would be interested in how much it frees up the server resources after UD21

Please bring back the furnishing subcategories that actually sort items! The ones on live may not be ideal, but they are far better than what's in your updated UI. Yes, it's nice to have dummies and crafting stations in their own categories for those who don't care about housing and just want some basic functionality for their house, but those two are also the easiest furnishings to find with a keyword search.

The two furniture subcategories are appreciated (lighting and seating), but what about wanting to decorate a pantry? That takes a lot of different furnishings and you seriously want me to look for each individual beet, carrot, duck, plate and fork seperately with a keyword? Same goes for making a garden or any outdoor area really. This game has a lot of plants, rocks and trees (though sadly not water elements) with varying names. I can't possibly be expected to know the name of each and search for them all based on keyword, or alternatively, muddle through a seriously overcrowded category?!?

Thank you for separating the Recipes category into drinks, food and furnishings, much appreciated. Now if you could also separate the Furnishings into subcategories that would be great.

If you're limited by time on what you can achieve, then I'd ask you to focus on the known/unknown filter as that would be the most impactful change that you could possibly make for the trader UI.

The search is great. Finally after more than 4 years of ESO, this feature will be implemented!!! The orc is very happy.

I would recommend to add the following filter to the search:

    - search for unknown weapon and armor traits to analyse
    - search for unknown motifs/recipes (like a big list of all the unknown stuff)

Please look at item stacking such as transmute crystal geodes.

Yes, I was very pleased to see them add an overall Furnishing Recipes category (previously, it was All Recipes (including all provisioning and furnishing recipes), Food Recipes, Drink Recipes, then Furnishing Recipes separated by profession, without an overall Furnishing Recipes category. So, we could only browse by diagrams, patterns, etc., and not by all furnishing plans.

I also posted a similar comment in relation to the pathetic list of subcategories for furnishings. Why on earth they decided to reduce the categories to two that are extremely narrow/focused (crafting stations & target dummies), and then two large functional categories (seating & lighting), and then EVERYTHING ELSE, is beyond me.

But, I agree, if the only other thing they can implement is a known/unknown filter, I'll deal with the meager categories for the furnishings.

I stand by what I originally said and what's been said by others...

The housing categories in the trader are horrendous. It seems silly. The game already has categories for furniture. All furniture knows to which category it belongs. Just implement the system you've already got within the trader.

And, I'll keep asking for a known/unknown filter for all learnable things (motifs, recipes, patterns, runeboxes, so on) until we have it.

    Pretty please?

Ah...runeboxes would be great - I hadn't thought about those. Yes, it would be so helpful to have some indicator that you already have the collectible inside.

    1. The furnishing category is missing a lot of sections. All basic furnishing items are split into only 3 categories; lighting, seating, and lumping everything else into “other”. This makes it almost impossible to just browse without putting in some very specific words for each category. Missing categories include: courtyard, dining, gallery, hearth, library, parlor, structures, suite, undercroft, workshop, miscellaneous, animated (new one). These categories along with the current lighting, interactable (seating renamed), target dummy, crafting stations, and other, would be the ideal categories needed in this section.

    2. Please, please, please include a filter for “known” and “unknown” furnishing plans and recipes, well over 2000 total, and it’s for the collectors it is almost impossible to search for one particular word in the top corner of the item screen, hoping you won’t miss it when you are looking through items.

*** side note: is it possible to include a “recipe cook book” or “furnishing catalogue” in the lore book section that tracks the known and unknown recipes and furnishing plans for that character?

Those would be absolutely amazing additions to the game!

@ZOS_GinaBruno, do you know if any of the feedback from this thread will lead to further changes in the guild trader UI? I think the known/unknown filter is pretty high up on the wish list, but there are several other repeat requests as well. The only change I've seen so far is for recipe subcategory filters.

I've been wondering about this, too. The known/unknown filter seems to me would have been a no-brainer to have from the beginning. We don't always know the name of whatever recipe or motif page we're missing. And even if we do, having to search for each one individually (or even as a group, e.g. Alinor or Huntsman) would be tedious. For example, setting the filter to furnishing recipes (thanks for adding that, by the way) and then being able to just see the ones we don't know would be extremely invaluable to players aiming to complete their collections.
