'Login Timeout' - US Server

christian.griffinb16_ESO
Despite your claim that the North America Megaserver is back up and running, I have doubts due to the fact that I cannot login and am presented with 'Login Error - Login timeout' whenever I try.

Please, just get this fixed.

I'd love to do a repair. Sadly, Zenimax, in their infinite bumbling, designed a launcher that apparently committed suicide and deleted itself from my hard drive overnight (I'm flippin' serious - the .exe is totally gone).

I didn't even get a patch and I still have the previous "Install" bug on my launcher. Getting the timeout error as well.

I'm having the same issue. There is no "repair launcher" application in the game files: I cannot, therefore "repair" the application. The game client will not automatically update for me. I've received no email with any code to enter as noted in the Dev Tracker thread on this issue. Consequently, I cannot do anything further to resolve this issue from my end. Also, since this is patch 1.0.2, why does the game build on my client still say it's 1.0.0.962841?

Edit: Feeling somewhat noobish, I've discovered how to "repair" the client and this seems to have resolved the issue.

So both EU and US got the same issue. Now they are acting stupid. They should have stopped the server upgrade on the US instantly till they fix the EU issues, yet they decided to continue killing both of the megaservers. THAT'S INSANE!

I've been having login issues during peak server time since launch. I also noticed my version on the login screen says eso.live.1.0.0.964485. I tried repairing and am trying again, this time sitting and watching in case there are any messages I missed when I came back after dinner the last time and it looked like the repair had been successful. That said, my launcher has shown downloading in process each time a patch has gone out. Is the Version number at the bottom left of the login screen different from the patch version?

You have to repair your game files. In the launcher, before you click play... there's a cog wheel with the words Game Options next to it, right above the news feed, not the cog wheel in the very top right of the window. Click that and choose repair, it will verify all files and dowload the patch which wouldn't normally update on it's own.

    hope this helps..
