So, I queued for a vet random dungeon. I was transported to the final boss of Moon Hunter Keep.

I have 35k+DPS on average and I know the mechanics as well. However, I am still a miserly 580 CP. So the three noobs (all 810) thought in their "holier-than-thou" attitude that a 580 must be unable to do what they are stuck with and booted me before the fight even started.

Now I don't really care about such issues, but come-on dudes, if you are stuck at the final boss with three 810s, it's you guys who need to be booted.

There should be a self boot option.

Couldn't agree with you more. Maybe they didn't want a "Lowly CP 580" player showing them how it is done? Always give players a chance.

The self-boot option is to leave group. That does carry the 15 minute penalty which is there to dissuade people from instantly leave difficult dungeons or groups they think are struggling.

Alternatively, you can ask your group members to kick you.

Hope it works out better next time! Its always a shame when groups make a snap judgment that deprives a capable group member of a good run.

I meant for the so-called elitists who can't clear the final boss, they should kick their own butts out. -_-

Ah. Well, they can also leave group or kick each other if they proved unable to complete the dungeon without your help.

    1) maybe they wanted a dd of a certain class for example a sorc with negate for those wolves
    2) maybe it was a premade four-man group and someone switched to a different toon and they queued for a replacement by
    accident.
    3) maybe one of the people in there had a buddy they wanted to bring in for the helm.

I could go on and on with reasons why you were kicked that have nothing to do with your CP or your potential DPS output. Any why call them noobs? It seems in bad taste. Do you know them? Did they express views that showed them to be inexperienced? You got kicked. It happens to all of us. From CP 10 to 810. Don't take it personal.

I am not. I just find the attitude to be well ***. Yes, it could have been one of those things or something else, but basic courtesy suggests you at least communicate. Also, not wait till the person has used the portal and then ran all the way to the boss.

    Oh well.

I've never kicked someone for having "low" CP (and I wouldn't exactly consider 580 CP low), but--

If they're on the last boss, maybe they've been trapped there for a while. Maybe they aren't so elite. Maybe they've dealt with a carousal of subpar DPS and are losing their patience/rationality. IDK.

Still crummy behavior, but frustration makes people act like *** on a regular basis.

    1) maybe (but unlikely)
    2) ha ha, now thats a stretch
    3) na.

We all know jackwagons like this. They saw 580 and immediatley thought kick. But don’t feel too bad. The most likely scenario is that they had already been in there for over an hour on the last boss, the best player dropped group a half hour ago, knowing the other 3 weren’t going to get it done. They went through a couple other players before you, and were waiting on a CP 810 savior to carry them. Lol. Take heart in knowing that, in all probability, they did not finish.

Very very similar thing happened to me at MHK, except it was very beginning, and it was NORMAL! I was 550cp and the moment all 3 other guys start to walk after loading in (all 810) one turns to my character and I got booted. Also this was Xbox NA

I can only say they did you an service. Same with OP.
Player who kicks CP 500+ does not understand how game works.

An group of max cp who kick at start of normal dungeons is in it self idiotic. Now I understand kicking fake tanks but.

Now back then I did random normals I loved getting in on last boss, if was usually fake healer who got kicked in 2 or dlc.

i literally always say no to kicking at the start of a dungeon when we pick up someone new because of this, especially if i'm DPS. DPS is the issue in vet dungeons 90% of the time in my experience, which is why I started playing it so I could stop waiting to get carried.

Yeah and most mechanics are easy to learn even in dlc dungeons. Like saving yourself from that wall in Scalecaller Peak, even though that's a tough dungeon.

Rofl don't mind them I got kicked from a group by the leader for vpledges cause I like wolfing around (Kena/bloodmoon /hundings). Called me a s****ty Roleplayer and said 51.4k dps (admittedly with fracture) is "wet". Some people just can't be helped... I saw the same person in pvp today in the alliance im in getting smacked around by a mag dk. I put my weapons away and enjoyed the show

If you think about it, if they were actually decent players they would know people they could bring into the group.

In other word they were not good players to begin with. Many that complain about CP players they get grouped with fall into that camp.

Sorry to hear that you were kicked; it is why I tend to play support in MMOs. I rarely play DPS as group will look for top end players for DPS when it is not always needed.

For instance, yesterday in another game I was top DPS on my tank character running my full support setup and yet we could not beat the last boss because the DPS did not know the mechanics. After explaining the mechanics the DPS again did not do the mechanics on another attempt. I stated mechanics please and explained it again what to do. When I noticed that the DPS were not doing the mechanics I selected abandon Q and that was that for me. It happens and it ruins what should have been a fairly quick run.

You didn't even get a chance to show you knew your stuff, sorry to hear that. And if you noticed, I never kicked or started a kick for another player in my group as there is no need to kick anyone as long as they are contributing to beating the content.

The real question is, why did it trigger you so much that you had to go make a forums post about it? People kick and get kicked, it's a part of the game. There are multiple different reasons you might have been kicked, most of which probably had nothing to do with CP level. Tbh though, a lot of 500cp players are not that great and don't have much end game experience.

After running through vCoS with a CP80 player that knew the mechanics more than I did, getting healed through vWGT hard mode by a CP110 healer with 11k health that never died before the DPS, seeing a player lower than CP140 donning Flawless Conqueror, and having 2 CP400 DPSs kill vet Scalecaller without the statues once shooting out a wave of poison between the shield phases, I've learned to not make any presumptions. Lower CP is still a red flag but by no means a "Kick Me" sign on their backs in the harder content.
