Do you want a return to Bleakrock?

So funny, because I just returned there last nite, and was feeling very nostalgic. I am partial to the snow covered areas of this game, so it's nice revisiting it every once in a while. Wish there were dailies there or some kind of on-going content to run.

Yeah seems abit meh after you have done the quest...maybe another to restore the island?

Would mean another instance....but pretty sure could do it

Could even add a house for housing there.....big ancient nord ruins.....or a cave some people have been wanting for a while...

Bleakrock is awful. When I started playing at "ESO free week" it was so underwhelming experience at Bleakrock so I was ready to delete the game. Only arrival to Bal Foyen saved me as a customer.

Would certainly welcome it. I'm quite sentimental about Bleakrock, because it's one of the few cases where our involvement actually change the world irrepairably for the worse.

Imagine a nice little quest chain to retake Bleakrock and rebuild the settlement there - something akin to "From the Ashes" DLC of KCD. Actually, it might even be a part of / a prequel quest to Solstheim DLC.

Of course, it would be accessible to characters who actually finished the Bleakrock story arc - because there is no point in retaking something that wasn't destroyed yet. ;)

I really liked Bleakrock, was there on the very first days with hundreds of people running around, everybody just started to play. It was a great area which left a long-lasting impression.
Unfortunately there's nothing to do there, after the questing is finished. It would be great to make the island matter a bit more in the later gameplay.
Life is a ride, like days in a train, cities rush by, like ghosts in the night.
The rhythm of wheels, time fades away, stations of a journey, destination unknown.

The game does poorly at providing ongoing followup of your past deeds. Bleakrock is a good example. So is Velaste after the Mages Guild. So is the inability to ever follow up or visit with the survivors of the Five Companions after the Main Quest. Or to visit your friend the Wilderqueen. Or Raz.

I'd like to see more followup on these and more quests. Though he is (as Lyris says) crazy as a box of frogs, you can at least chat with Cadwell after the associated quests are done.
Totally agree would love for The College of Sapiarchs to be reinstated

    But why though?
    • Narrative continuity
    • World building
    • Immersion

We could have quests to help rebuild the island.
It would allow players to follow up on earlier quests, finding out how the survivors fared and whether any actually wanted to return.
It would feed off the choices made in the early part of the EP questline and would add depth to the world.

Maybe a better question would be: Why not?

Yes! Well said, this would make a positive impact. I concur :D

    Bump again :)

Also, just in case anyone missed the whole point of going back, it has nothing to do with lore, or the storyline, or anything like that. The reason we should be able to take the Bleakrock Village back, is simply because of the very convenient hub it provides. As I pointed out in my pros and cons, virtually everything you could want is in, or around a single open building. Again, there are things like a transmute station, jewelry crafting station, and crafting writ location that could be added still, but the rest is already there. We are just forced to abandon and forget about it, because of the zone's main quest. @ZOS_GinaBruno Please consider making this happen. Yes, there are plenty of other things to tackle, including bugs, balancing, and DLC. I don't think it needs to happen right now, I just think it would be a nice addition to an update like the Elsweyr one.

I always felt cheated somehow, that the other races starter islands are all nice and peaceful after the starter island questline, letting their peeps return there for fun and profit, but... bleakrock kinda remains on fire. And I would love to see it return to its pre-covenant serenety, maybe after you complete the mainstory? Plop a player housing log cabin into the mix and many would appreciate the place I reckon!

That's the reason you have for going back.

    Other people have other reasons.

The fact that they agree with your desire to go back, even if they have different reasons for doing so, helps your argument rather than hurts it. As such, not sure why you are seemingly trying to put them off with your pos.

This would be a nice small update with Wrathstone or Elseweyr...

Adding a small housing nearby would make this island even more useful!

Doing the quests for this island was one of the few times I felt sorry for my DC allegiance :) but what happens there reminds us of the reality of war... war is never fair or right.

@Iluvrien I wasn't saying anyone has bad additional/other reasons. I just want the reason that is good for any and all players to be clear, which is that having a compact hub to do pretty much everything in a place that's built into the base game would be a massive benefit for all players. Besides, more reasons players want to go back, means more reasons for ZOS to make it happen, so more power to anyone else with good reason.

It’s a fun quest zone, beautiful, Nordy/Dunmery themes, and the place deserves to be more than a bot farm. Which on most platforms it currently is.

Since the start of playing, i loved that nice little snowy place, and regret very much that it become closed for peaseful life after completing quest. I'd like to back there and have posiibility to make crafting daily right there - it have nice atmosphere, and comfortable close placing of crafting stations, just need to add jew, and writs. Some of my characters would definitely live there!

I love that snowy island, but if you finish the quests, the town is uninhabitable.
If you don't finish the quests, you always and forever have that annoying woman standing in the center of town saying "We must evacuate! Everybody stay calm!"

I would LOVE to be able to visit Bleakrock without either of those things. It's not a pressing need, but it would be lovely.

Ah... Yes... Bleakrock... The place where my adventure has begun... Long time ago (back in 2014). It has been almost 5 years...
Back then I was clueless about the game, did not knew or even cared much about stats and what does what... Questing was the main focus... and the story too. The world seemed much more imersive...
... Good old times, that will never come back...
