perhaps we need to split effects and purges into three separate categories
category 1: bleeds, burns, other damage over time effects that actually do damage, etc.
category 2: armor debuffs, healing debuffs, etc.
category 3: snares, roots, slows, etc.
have a "cleanse" that removes damage over time effects, have a "purge" that removes debuffs, and immovable that removes snares, roots, etc.
its fine if skills or sets deal with these effects in a balanced manner but we need more levers and gears to mess with it seems. as a lot of the shouting and raging at curse eater was done because people don't want to lose their bleeds, as everyone hates snares.
in that same vein we need more effects that purge / cleanse / immovable, then provide immunity to further effects for 1-3 seconds. as its extra suck to purge then have it all just stack up again -_-
