    the real blame for all the nerfs is from the constant mass NERF threads people are making every. single. day.

    I'll start off by saying I solo 1-2 times a week and then run 4-8 man 3 times a week. So usually it is small-small/medium sized groups. I'm also a StamSorc and built for speed and mobility.

    Having said that, Forward Momentum definitely needed a nerf, that ability was way too strong. On top of that I tend to agree with the nerfs to speed pots. That was basically the meta pot to use in PvP. I'm happy to see that rapids is getting nerfted because that definitely gave large groups a mobility advantage over solo - small man groups. I think that alone will help to deal with the large groups. However one thing that remains that is a problem is the availability of snares in this game. ZoS appears to be moving in the direction of needing to give up something to get something (i.e. speed, snare removal, etc). So perhaps one thing to look at to aid in the snare meta, is to remove snares from some abilities and/or make abilities that snare only do that (snare) and no damage, etc. So you give up damaging someone with an ability to put a mobility hindrance (snare) on them.

    Most of the games I put time into and get good at I eventually begin running weaker builds/loadouts to challenge myself and keep my interest. That’s not really the case with ESO pvp. I don’t enjoy zerging or really even organized group fighting. It’s next to impossible to X without fotm sets and builds but I’ve tried it before. I once made a speedy build on my stam sorc, Coward’s Gear and Prisoner’s Rags. Most fun I’ve had in a while. I even won in a few 1vX’s against 2 or 3 players. But it’s not effective at all unless you’re fighting utter potatoes

    YES this is what it has become. Not playing the strongest class of a meta or playing a non meta build and going out and soloing with it used to be viable but now its just not. If you want to do that you need to be playing the meta on a strong class.

    Why would i bother with my stam sorc when i could hop on a stamblade with a lot more damage, from class buffs and passives, and run a similar build as my stam sorc.

    But even still between the terrible performance and the many MANY nerfs to solo over time, it just seems like its not worth it to even try anymore. And its sad, it really is. Most people i see, who used to solo, are running AT LEAST a 2 person if not 3 or 4 person group now. Because even one more person makes all the difference. But even still, with the way the game is now, its even hard in those groups.

    The zergs are much bigger, the lag is much worse, and so many nerfs have come to the game that have hurt solo pvp the most. But since so little people solo im sure zos doesnt care.

    Yep. As a magicka user in five light armor, one heavy chest plate and one medium, using Innate Axiom and Shacklebreaker, I feel like I should be wearing all I'll ever need to do fine by myself. But unfortunately CCs and extremely high incoming damage makes me feel like I'm wearing a paper bag in this build. This should be my final gear set but it feels like I'm still wearing forgotten adventurer prison clothes. It's the strangest feeling.

    They need to make pvp operate differently than PvE. They have things like battle spirit so I know it's possible. In PvP snares and roots should either cost more or be less effective. Dealing with what I play, the Templar class is slow probably because they think all we need is Ritual of Retribution. Hell, if we stay inside that small circle we are going to DIE. We will get CC'd and/or AOEd to death. Do hear me ZOS? We need mobility! I would gladly give up the snare on Sacred Ground for MOBILITY! Nerf snares and roots!
