What do you think of the new racial changes after today?

Personally the bosmer and orc ones are by far disappointing. Bosmer just looks even more like a pvp race after changes again. 10% speed when orc has constantly makes it no sense in my mind. Also not a fan of new orc changes and how they affect regain tanks. So what do you guys think are you a fan?

    Why are we buffing dunmer more? They were arguably one of the better races before.

    Most of it I didn't care, it seems like small changes to get things more in line with what was their intended area.

    Altmer I don't understand the logic behind the change, it's such an odd effect to try and make use of outside of a Magicka class getting some block/dodge resources back.

    Orc PvP perspective. I'm thrilled. 2k Stam! 1k health! The loss of sustain can be made up as well as the healing.

    And in CP settings the percentages seem to carrying through with everything! Some insane stat builds incoming. War drums beating.

    What is the point of going wood elf at all now? Sustain? Redguard exists. Mobility? Redguard, orc and nord all offer some form of effective mobility; orcs with sprint speed, redguard with snare resistance and nord with immunity to chilled. And what is the purpose of 1.5k pen for 3s after roll dodge? I can't imagine people are gonna be thinking "hmm time to roll dodge to gain that 1.5k pen for 3s so I can kill this guy". The pen should apply permanently.
    Overload rework. Power Overload now does physical damage and grants you the power of a tornado: You throw a brick at the target with a light attack, and you hammer your head into that brick with every heavy attack. We have decreased its Ultimate cost, but increased the chance that you get stuck in the animation.

    I think they're very well balanced overall. But proper testing (and not only dummy tests) is what will have the last word.

    I believe it's because the changes previous took away a lot of what made Dunmer a race people wanted to play, the "bit of everything" didn't match with their old design where's others stuck closer to their designs.

    This change takes them back to that but brings in more benefits for Stamina builds.

    Bosmer speed reduction made sense, but adding penetration after dodge roll doesn't make any sense. Especially considering the actually usable duration of the buff, it would really only be very useful in PVP.

    Snare buff to Redguards is quite strong for PVP application, significantly more valuable than the Bosmer speed roll bonus. The Redguard passive does not require a dodge roll, is constant, and directly mitigates snares which nullify the Bosmer speed roll bonus even before it was nerfed to 10%.

    With Altmer: I'm kind of optimistic that my magicka character will get a needed stamina help but I'm worried that it won't be practical unless I build for a larger stamina pool still.

    Yeah the issue with bosmer racial before wasn't because bosmer racial but how it stacked with other things. Still it's like nobody wanted bosmer to be great at anything :disappointed:

    The changes to red diamond completely killed the race for me probs never going to use it again everything else looks better cant wait to use my 20 reddiamond heal in pvp while I'm defiled

    The changes to altmer and bosmer are just face palm bad. After two weeks of feedback this is what they come up with? Just let Altmer have a small amount of magic sustain and bosmer have reduced stealth radius. These changes are weird, ham fisted, and don't fit the identity of the race.

    Not surprised on bosmer ones. They had their moment when being "on par with khajiit" for heists/sacraments and r now back to "wait there is passives beyond the looks?".

    Its okay, the other races need the buffs more to make up for their appearance. ;)

    Not a fan of the changes to Red Diamond either. Instead of giving us one good thing, it gets diluted too much, and will no longer have a significant impact like it used to do.

    Healing is something that already benefits all play types, I don't see the need to neuter that by adding some resource refunds to Stam and Magicka while significantly reducing the healing portion.

    For PvE DPS we had a good diversity with the changes from 4.3.0 allowing about 3 - 4 races to closely compete with each other. These new changes completely rip altmer damage as you're forced to loose some of your damage outside your racial passives to gain the same sustain a Breton brings therefore loosing DPS.

    Pretty happy about Orc going from 500 health and stamina to 1k health and 2k stamina. That's exactly what they needed IMO. I rather them get stam return when you do damage with a weapon than the heal because with Battle Spirit 300 heal every 4 seconds is nothing. Overall I'm very pleased.

    To be honest I'm pretty pissed off.

    Why on Earth would anyone pick highelf now, it doesn't the same thing as dark elf but darkelf gives you a flat out larger resource pool

    Not comparing them spell recharge is just a completely useless passive in pve and again in PvP darkelf does it better.

    Yes there is still space for improvement but overall i like the way ZOS goes atm. No nerfs compared to before, buffs and changes. No nerfs. Keep it up zos!

    The pen on dodgeroll is actually purely exclusive to PvP cause no stam DD will dodge roll in his rotation so he will never benefit from the penetration his race has to offer.

    Maybe give bosmer minor evasion for 3 seconds after the dodge roll? Dodge roll itself is an defense mechanic and putting minor evasion on it would also help other classes to get this minor buff.

    Minor evasion is both usefull in pve and PvP. Bosmer get little bit of defense when they dodge roll cause thats what they need in this Situation be it pve or PvP.

    I am someone who rarely has a real issue with game nerfs etc and almost always looks back on "catastrophic" changes and realizes that they weren't very bad at all or actually had a positive effect. In case of some of todays changes, I actually have to say "WTF"?!??

    The change to Spell Recharge is just incomprehensible. I have to say that the passive in its new form would be completely useless in almost all situations. I would probably not even spend the skillpoints on it... Yeah, it might help very slightly in roll dodge heavy situations, but I think the effects would barely be noticeable. There is no justification for this change that I can see, especially in light of buffs to Khajiit and Dunmer passives. They want to make Altmer purely damage focused, fine, then give them a "little bit of everything" - say a smaller spell damage bonus and an additional spell crit bonus that would be smaller than Khajiit - say, 175 spell damage and 4% spell crit. This wouldn't help with sustain issues but might give a reason to run an Altmer for higher dps potential.

    I strongly feel that Zenimax needs to rethink this one entirely.

    So all the racials are looking pretty good in this patch. Except High Elf. That is the most illogical change I've ever seen. The racial before was fine, this change isn't lore friendly, doesn't help race identity and really makes no sense. I seriously thought it was a typo or I'd read it wrong when I first saw it. Change it to something useful and we have some interesting racials for the most part.
