It's expected for the first month or so that maintenance shall be wonky. It'll level out.

As @Hyperventilate‌ mentioned and I agree, even adding first months maintenance will be as they are needed.. it will balance out. But really.. they are not entitled to run their thing on your timetable or my timetable...

It isnt about entitlement it is about trying to get some normalcy and it is about communicating with paying customers.
A weekly or even daily post about any maint would be nice especially as most of us have busy lives. Normally i don't plan my life around a game, but then normally the maint is regular and reliable.

I agree that there will be more unexpected maint as this is a new game, but with a little foresight on zenimaxs part, some of us could get more than 3 hours a week of gaming in ;p;p

Guys, if you look under the Server Status forum, they did post in advance about the last maint, and did it out of hours. They also posted elsewhere on forum saying they will be doing weekly maint on Tuesdays and Sundays as the schedule.

It's never going to be possible to cater for every user. The 2pm time isn't set in stone yet and wasn't officially announced via Server Status (they moved it forward and announced that time instead).

You can't be entitled to "normalcy" yet. There is no such thing as "normalcy" within the first month-two months of launch.

There are problems that need to be fixed. Unexpected issues will arise. Right now, everybody.. developers, support staff, consumers, players, shareholders, IT guys, even the damn janitors are not entitled to normalcy.

You will get it, though. Fear not. It's like dumping new fish in a fishbowl -- For a while they're all flurried up and not quite right. Everything is stirred up, everything is new and shiny and has sharp corners that need to be filed down.

We are all suffering together, but it is something we all need to lock arms and trudge through the mud. It will level out, give it time. Do not expect normalcy this early in.

They probably don't know the schedule at this point. Major problems or exploits come up requiring a downtime as soon as they have a fix the HAVE to deploy it or the exploit or major problem affects more and more people. It's going to be like that for weeks more probably.

Not asking for them to cater to me, just asking for a little heads up if possible and some shiny big flashing arrow posts in the forums, maybe 24 hr notice if poss for the scheduled maintenance changes. I am not unreasonable, and I am not stupid, I know there is gonna be lots of unscheduled fixes. I am just talking about the regular maint days and times.
