Get a gaming mouse and use macros to perfectly animation cancel every ability and become what some people call skilled.

You think people pulling 45k use macros? Lmao

Im guessing that was a BS comment. Getting 45k+ takes the right build, right gear, skills and weaving skills.

You are exactly right. That's what I meant. That other dude recommended to use macros. L2p instead. How was my comment bs? Unless you dont know what macro is.
Only unskilled cheaters use macros maybe. They should also be against the ToS.

Oh sorry, i didnt mean your comment but that dudes that suggested to use macros :)

It amazes me how difficult something this easy can be ( weaving ) and the insane difference it makes when it comes to DPS.

I'm sorry I misunderstood your previous comment, I'm half asleep lol.

I'm stuck at similar range also, i cant get past 38-40k with magden. Ya, weaving takes a lot of practice. You got BiS meta gear so just keep at it and you will get there:)
I dont play stam so I dunno your rotation but maybe also look up and try different rotation. Your weaving needs work for sure but I'm not sure if that alone can make up the almost 10k difference you're trying to achieve. Usually the high end parses 45-50+ I have seen at least mag ones use more complicated dynamic rotations.

All good bro its early :pensive:

Yeah its so frustrating, having BiS gear and yet not beying able to achieve that magic 40k! I even know the exact rotation ppl that get 45k + are using, and still its hard. You are already at 40k, i cant get much better than that! My parses vary between 33 and 37 ( avarage 35 ) and im far from consistent yet. I will focus on the damn weaving and see if its really THAT big of a difference. I still need that AY dagger and make it infused, but its the rotation/weaving where the big DPS gains is it seems.

When i hit 20k some time ago getting to 30k seemed impossible, so i guess its kinda the same now getting from 30k to 40 :P

@Mariusghost84 , one side note: don't be in rush to chase meta now. PTS cycle is underway, DW enchantments are being nerfed, best new combinations are yet to be found. So you can practice your rotation, but you needn't get BiS gear and traits now, because it's subject to change soon.

I'm yet to properly test things on PTS, but I may start looking out for a pair of cheap Deadly Strikes daggers and jewelry set, while it's all still cheap.

Thats a worthy mention. I will just focus on the rotation and weaving then. You are thinking the deadly set in stead of AY or body?

    Good input, thanks :)

@marius_buys , so far it's a "maybe", and likely for stamDK (and stamsorc?), and AY may still outperform with raid buffs. Everything is in flux now, hence it's probably best to hold onto those transmute crystals until after release.

I think the consensus is for Deadly Strike you would need vMA daggers, deadly strike and relequen body and jewels. No monster set. And it would require a different, slightly more difficult rotation.

Your light attack weaving is super clunky, and you spend a lot of time on your back bar. Once that's down you should be good. As others stated, you want to cancel light attacks with a skill. Light attack > skill, light attack > skill. They should be near simultaneous, but obviously the light attack must come first. If done properly you will not see the full animation of the light attack. Just practice out of combat with a skill like noxious breath until you get the timing down. Once you got that down practice bar swap cancelling. Which would be skill > bar swap. If done properly you will barely see any animation of the skill but it will still go off. A good skill to practice that with is FoO. You'll barely see the characters arms move but you will see the buff.

I appriciate the feedback. Atm its very discouraging to continue to practise as i seem to have huge issues with light attacks for some reason.. But as always i Will keep practising to hit that magic 40k. What is that buff called by the way?

Flames of oblivion isn’t a significant source of damage so it’s ok if it falls off for a full front and back bar rotation until you find the window to re cast it.

Just for the record, NO ONE uses macros in ESO. NO ONE. I know friends who use additional hardware, such as a foot pedal for things like weaving etc, but there is literally no macros used for it.

Foot pedal for weaving? You have a picture of that, sounds pretty interresting :D

If it's not traditional weaving for making fabric, if that's the case I'm not interested anymore.

Are you for real? A foot pedal?
