I've tried obtaining the quest from both locations and nothing is working, I get past the guardians but cannot go through the portal.

lucreciaSoul ShrivenI get the quest to go through the portal. I go through the portal fine, but then it says to talk to Maeroth. Maeroth isn't in the room and if I highlight on the portal it shows I the quest arrow pointing back to the portal. If I go back out of the portal the quest fails.4
