I understand it's frustrating but many of you are being unreasonable. Have you never had an update to your computer actually mess it up so you had to roll the update back? Have you never had any piece of electronic equipment suddenly start acting weird or stop working? Things happen, they're working to identify what caused it and fix it. They don't want the servers down either ya know.

They both have the same planned routine maintenance. One to a machine/s in the US and one to machine/s in Germany.
So two separate physical locations, is it not possible that one machine could have a problem the other one 10000km does not?

Talk about oversimplifying to make a point. And it doesn't even make sense.

But I'll go with your example: We both have Windows computers, same machine, same software. Windows gives a worldwide software update. Now only one of the PC's work. Now you want to say "Were 100km apart of course there are differences"... but that's obviously not how software works.
The location of a machine should not have any impact on it's performance. This has to be some form of human error.

And besides, people wondering why there is a difference and what the problem is isn't too much to ask. No need to act so condescending...

This is also weird, how ZOS seems to expect the German community team to do the job of @ZOS_GinaBruno and @ZOS_JessicaFolsom whenever there is an issue with the EU server. Which largely just means we get no info whatsoever.

Crap doesn't normally happen when you pay for a service, and when it does, you almost always get a compensation. We're not going to get anything as a compensation. ESO is a BUSINESS and they're taking money for their services, there is no excuse for this.

You need to understand, that combo of these 2 things is the main reason of all threads about maintenance here. And about crap happens - sure, but it happens not for the first time, and not even for second or even 5th, this crap happens for years right now and always with EU server.

ZOS needs to change EU team! Because of lack of communication and unqualified management. Thats the problem about the EU servers, why we learn the problems from the German forums ? Why they can't write here ?

What exactly should they post? "We're still waiting to hear back from the maintenance crew…"? It's not like they're all sitting there in front of a screen watching some progress bars.

They could post some memes, though, I guess.

Give it some time. Imagine a small door and everyone wanting through at the same time.
