I like it as well but I think it needs to be more diverse and exclusive at the same time with less power creeping if that makes sense? So you can't pick a tank based CP tree if you picked a magic based tree but have generic slots for increaing resistance but put more in a tank based CP. This way players in PVP can't dish out damage with high resistance like a tank. But add more CP diversity like lock picking, stealth, etc.I love the CP system. Iy needs to stay.
The issue with the CP system is how hard it is for newer players to catch up, and IMO stopping end game progression for a year or two was no the best way to fix the problem.
Just make the exp it takes to gain CP substantially lower, especially up until the cp 300-600 range.

It’s not hard for new players to catch up. Each time the cap is raised they make it easier for non maxCP players to gain cp with each patch.
Everyone else grinded for their max cp so why should these new players be excluded? Stupid trophy generation mindset right there. I worked for my 1,000+ CP so I’ want to keep what I spent time on getting.
It’s stupid how zos caters to noobs and continuously screws over end gamers. Just because some cp 246 role player cries about not being able to reach cap because all he does is kill mud crabs and play dress up. Doesn’t mean we all have to suffer so that noobs will be “on our level”
Earn your cp like everyone else has

Completely disagree. Been playing 3 years. Got ONE - thats ( 1 ) level 50 at 265 cp. Even running dolmens with xp scroll you are only picking up about 5 cp per hour.
It IS hard for new players to catch up if they actually want to PLAY the game.
I don't think Noobs ( or anyone ) should be able to max out the character in a month, but claiming this is already easy is just wrong.

3 years and 265 cp... Do you just make alts nonstop and harvest and craft or something? Even the Sleeps on Bridges guy is higher level than that and he sleeps on bridges nonstop lol.
A friend that has done nearly every quest in the game that started same day as me and he's still 780ish.
What exactly do you do... or not do?

If they will ever remove CP I will uninstall ESO immidietiely and never turn back unless a real replacement will be provided without losing my power. I prefer to have new and more difficult end game content comming in the updates than making me feel that I start the game over and over again because nerf this nerf that...
