Do we have any news on when we might actually get to play?
I think they broke some hardware when they moved the server to Frankfurt and now have no way of fixing it. Not much can be done at this point. Also, bottleneck at 30km near Frankfurt doesn't help either, but that's another issue.

Maybe i can dust off my Commodore Vic 20 and they may get some upgrade that way.SaintSubwayy wrote: »ZOS_KaiSchober wrote: »Die Wartung des EU-Servers dauert länger, weil dort noch ein Software-Update vorgenommen werden muss, während die NA-Wartung "nur" ein Reboot ist.

Thanks SaintSubwayy, much appreciated.SaintSubwayy wrote: »ZOS_KaiSchober wrote: »Die Wartung des EU-Servers dauert länger, weil dort noch ein Software-Update vorgenommen werden muss, während die NA-Wartung "nur" ein Reboot ist.

Yes - Thank you. But this brings more questions:
Why does NA not need the update - was it already updated, whilst EU was kept behind or will NA get it later ?
What Software-update ? Is it related to hardware and if so is it different (better/worse) than NA?
NA still clearly needs more than a full reboot as 3h is long for that kind of boots with accurate amount of people preforming it.

Even if they broke all of the servers, it still couldn't get any worse than what we already have when it comes to game performance and stability.

Of course it would be great to get an answer from a CM, but since there isn't any European English-speaking CM at ZOS... I'm curious if there will be one.

I would prefer EVE online style 1 hour a day maintenance over long periods of downtime.

Wow do reboot and the server are back up in 10 mins or less, patch days in wow are now in a hour or so, yeah some real major ones can take a while longer.
And the ESO team can't even do a reboot in under 7 hours, damn thats just real bad.

will be strange to get loading screens at NA server , pretty empty one ^-^

EU server needs high maintenance for all the times and troubles we have recently for months after moving servers to Europe, I will actually be quite happy if the extended maintenance will make me suffer less from poor ping/lags and random kickbacks to login screens.
On weekends (let's be honest) it has become a pain for me to play this game as the loadscreens happen to be super long, i mean 4-5 min long loadscreen just so I can port to get something from my storage chest? Or getting queued into BG just to find half empty match 'cause people were stuck in loadscreen? Something is wrong and I sure hope they fix it someday...
