Met a charming chap at Vlas today, who would sneak wait in stealth for as long as it took for you to go unawares, then sneak up, CC and 1shot you with Onslaught for 17k.
Thats in Cyrodiil ofcouse so the true damage of that onslaught was 34k, something I dont think ive ever seen that ability manage to do before.

Might want to nerf this one ZOS, just a thought.

    I’m not seeing the connection between that sets 5th trait and what you’re describing. It only works on a fully charged heavy attack while you’re still stunned. It does not work with Onslaught or Snipe. This set is pretty uselsss for the most part.

    Fair, I guess the search for exactly that that ganker was doing continues.
    I still think the set is going to be a massive issue with the queuing of abilities or the ability to have allies in a zerg CC for you. Heavy attacks are already scary enough and the stun meta is making people drain stamina on breaks faster than they could burn it on abilities.

    Uppercut from stealth hits way harder than a heavy attack and Doyle is far from a reliable proc set (against good or even decent players).

    What’s your build OP maybe we can start there. Do you have enough resists and crit resist? We’re you standing around in light armor with no shields up? The other culprit can be that stamblades get an insane amount of single target damage perks especially from stealth without even trying. So some extent it’s almost unavoidable if the ganker knows their stuff.

    Because it's the pts and for some reason ZOS didn't think to add deadly strikes to the testing sets, so you have to buy it from random packs in vlas.

    OP, try using the set then you'll see its pretty trash if you're trying to one shot someone who has learnt how to cc break.

    This set originally proced off all heavy attacks so could be exploited by bow gankers who could charge the heavy attack while snipe was flying. That was quickly changed (I cant remember if it made it off PTS like that).

    Caluurion is a much better set for melee ganking, esp on mNB. I have had this on my recap before when on a light or medium armour build... never Doylemish though

    I've tested this set once when it was released with many stealth combos and for most of the part it didnt worked. It can work only against people who choose to not break free for like 2+ seconds but those people would be dead even withour use of doylemish.

    Was probably something like Sword Singer + Balorgh.

    Onslaught costs 150 ultimate, so that’s 300 WD from Balorgh plus 400 WD from SS. They might have been using Automaton as well (assuming it’s a full gank build that sacrifices sustain for one-shots). If so, Onslaught would be buffed by a grand total of 1100 additional WD. Given that most stamina builds hover around 3000 WD unbuffed, it would be very easy to get a huge tooltip for Onslaught.

    Also notice its a ***MELEE*** heavy attack. This does not include archery.

    Saw a guy on my team was running it in a BG. Whispered me saying "MagDK?" and linked a Nirnhoned Greatsword of Doylemish.

    Being a good team mate i decided i would wait until he charged a heavy and then Fossilize his target.

    When Doylemish connects it's no joke in the damage it does.

    But the set requires some decent setup or an accomplice to use it to its full potential.

    Actually yeah, you do. I use this set on live (Xbox NA) and this 5th piece will not proc on a stunned/immobilized enemy unless you heavy attack.
