Consuming Trap is an option - 7% max health/stam/mag if an affected enemy dies. Another option if you're a vampire is Drain Essence which is also a heal and Mist Form which is damage mit
Might want to give Degeneration a look if you're looking for some passive heals. It's a Mages Guild skill that gives you Major Sorcery and make light attacks have a chance to heal you for a decent amount.

I made up a classes dps once, looked like this-
Front bar fire staff
Inner light, degeneration (entropy), elemental ring, clench, force pulse, ulti meteor
Back bar lighting or fire
Inner light, eledrain(maybe consuming trap), harness magic, scalding rune, wall of elements, ulti elemental rage.
This is back when harness was not capped by health though. But in group content, that ought to be fine. This will get you plenty of dps.

It's not sexy and won't do as much damage, but this might allow you to drop the resto staff (with the condition that you build for mundus health recovery and health recovery exists in your drink buff). You'll have two shields (Iceheart and LA shield) up a lot, and a good deal of health coming back every 2 seconds. Spider Cultist should offer enough punch for when you need to burn with the destro ultimate.

What did you use in terms of gear? Also, would you change anything for vMA? That's the main thing I'm trying to build this out for, it might not have enough healing without some compensation gear.
