This thread makes me laugh... nervously... I don't think most you peeps here realise he's taking notes of all the best guild answers and calculating his next 20 trader guild purchases. The one trader guild he actually called 'Reguvin' was the most narcissistic one I'd seen yet.

I didn't know when I posted...…...but my guild doesn't have a guild trader and any guild that would *sell* to the highest bidder is not really a guild at all, I've never even heard of anyone buying and selling a guild

I can't believe I missed this topic. What sounds like a benign thread is actually a juicy nugget of drama.

On topic, I enjoyed my time in my first guild. Sadly, the guild became inactive and I had to move on.

Royal Bank of Tamriel for my main trading guild. I've met so many interesting characters there, and made so many friends in it. Been in there for over 2 years and don't plan on leaving.
For PVE guilds, ESOteric Knowledge. This guild's helped me get several clears in places I didn't have before. I got the remaining Crag HMs with them, as well as HoF and HoF HM. I hope we clear vAS HM soon!!

Unfortunately I cannot say anything good for several guilds I've been in. Several PVE guilds I was in started off friendly and open. I even made friends in em. But due to lack of communication, people not talking to me, and just toxicity, I was either kicked or forced to leave. The same kind of BS seems to be in PVP guilds. I often avoid joining those as I do tend to play with friends on an enemy faction.

Not sure. I'm in all big-city trading guilds cause...

...but had to mute 'em all cause the chat was just solid auction and advertisement spam.

None. Haven't had many good experiences with any guilds, and I have been in a few.

Been in two pairs of Roleplaying hub-guilds. One I am joining in and out for various reasons, another who's membership I ended after a fairly heated moment.

There was a PvE guild I also joined, didn't stay in it for too long though. Nobody really bothered to invite me to any PvE activities even if I asked or offered to join. Then one time I went in to a dungeon with the guild leader, my girlfriend and a random guy from the group finder. The guild leader was rude to my girlfriend, and she herself generally had an attitude that could be described as "A Heartless ***". I do not miss that guild, or the guild leader... Heartless cur.

NPC guilds however? I have fun with the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild. Always fun to play the crime minigame, especially as a Khajiit since you are a lot stealthier that way.

I think most guilds don't promote or don't care about it, so many people are socially idle and not interested. They are just repeating group dungeons and trials endlessly. The trading guilds for example promote when you sell and demote when you don't. My general rule for the trading guilds - don't make any friends there as you may be kicked from guild anytime without notice. Thus why I like the Priests of Hircine idea, you work for your progress yourself and that way stay active and work for the score of the whole guild (total counter of free bites given, and after each 1k there is a guild meetup ).

We have had some great times! But I've checked the nature of this thread and rest assured, I will never sell my guild for any amount of money, it is priceless!
