Why doesn't Templar have a Major Sorcery skill?

Templars have the best executes, that might have something to do with it

@Greg11jkalfa A genius like you surely knows what that word means.

Personal attacks show your argument is weak.
.Mage's Fury costs very little to cast,

Mages fury costs is cheap, 2.4k base cost but does literally 40% of the damage, before 20%, that force pulse does for 2.7k base cost. Garbage. It is an execute, not a spammable, a bad one at that.
    .Crystal Fragments are ... spammable.

No the skills is not, you even say so yourself-
.The whole point of using the Crystal Fragments morph is for the bonus damage, and reduced cost given by the proc.

By definition, even your own words, not spammable. Procs can't be spammed.
. the majority of sorcerer builds revolve around magicka, because none of the stamina abilities are attacks.

My Stam sorc whos only ablitys that cost magic are surge and dark deal says hi. Hurricane and bound armaments are both Stam as well.
. With every other class, you have multiple attack options using stamina. That is what I was on about.

I still have no idea what you are on about, Show me a mag rotation that is not a magdk using trap that uses any Stam ablity.

Unless you mean Stam morphs of class skills, then all classes have around 4 of those.

Templars have the best executes, that might have something to do with it

    Killers blade/impale say hello.

Since you can get the buff from potions instead it doesn't really matter. Even on chars where I have access to it as a skill, I prefer to apply it as a potion as it lasts longer.

In my opinion more buffs should be available through potions.

It would be nice it it was a constant buff you get for spending 120 cp in the apprentice / ritual tree instead.

@Lightspeedflashb14_ESO So giving you the benefit of the doubt is now an attack? And surely you must be trolling at this point, so I'm gonna be that guy, and let it go.

You don't have one on mag or stam for sorc.

Speaking of classes lacking stuff, sorcs are the only class without a class spammable

@Urvoth Feel free to tell me I know nothing about the game, but Mage's Fury, and Crystal Fragments are 100% spam skills for magicka sorcerers. I have no answer for stamina sorceres, but sorcerers are predominantly a magicka based class.

You know nothing about the game.

For real though, Fury is an execute and Frags is a proc skill, neither of them are spammables.

I think to promote grouping with other classes, the buffs have been spread out amongst them. It's more common with the minor buffs though.
And now I wonder when necromancer releases will a new buff be added?

pretty sure they were saying that since temps got both major crit buffs, your example with major Savagery and 7/11 seconds of major Prophecy with sun fire and its morphs, we dont need the major dmage buffs.

I have mained Magicka Templar for a long time and I believe that there isn't really room to run Entropy just to get major sorcery.

End game PvE players will know that it doesn't have a place in a damage rotation but with things like Vet trials, everyone is using spell power potions on cooldown anyway. It's a small part of the game that I don't like, but it is what it is, which leads me on to believe that this is mainly a PvP issue

In my experience, it's a struggle to find room for it in PvP, especially if you double bar inner light. If you don't, then it seems logical to run vampire's bane and then the other slot becomes spare for Entropy, but it's like, you always feel forced into these skills...

My solution is to add it to Rune Focus or a skill that does not require a target like Vampire's Bane for Major Prophecy.

Look at the Netch skill for Warden. Blue Betty restores Magicka, grants Major Sorcery, cleanses a negative effect upon summon (no cooldown) and it's free to cast!

Bull Netch grants Major Sorcery and Brutality whilst restoring stamina...

Don't think there'd be a huge issue adding it to rune focus, as you also have to stand on the rune to get the most out of the skill... If balance is really a concern then, then major ward and resolve could be dropped to minor.

Right now, for Major Sorcery, Magicka Templars are confined to spell power potions or Rattlecage and in PvP spell power pots on cooldown is not viable to me. I'd rather have the freedom of potions like tri or immovable etc.

I guess on Stamplar you can run a 2H? Not experienced with Stamplar. Just my thoughts, cheers :)

I'd much rather get Major Sorcery from outside of my class skills and still have easy access to Minor Sorcery with 100% uptime.
