How exactly is Khajiit suddenly one of the best PvE Magic Races?

Prior to the change Khajiit made the worst Magic anything, but now ive been seeing its suddenly hugely viable as a PvE Mag DPS on the PTS, and im sorry but i dont see how 8% more spell crit is what did it.

WoppaBoem✭✭✭✭✭Magplar also really strong has the same passive 10%+ damage when crit. I think in general mag builds do better with high crit compared to high weapon damage with stam. But not an expert however the crit increase for nightblades and magplar is huge because the current BIS (siroria & spell strat) sets are not focussed on crit but on spell damage. In any content, PvE and PvP, with Channeled Acceleration up at all time. Or in group content, where any person keeps Aggressive Horn up all time.
Minor Force + Elfborn/Precise Strike CP + Templar or Nightblade crit damage passive.0 -

Tbh, magblades needed a buff. So I'm definitely into the khajiit crit buff. Also from an lore/aesthetic perspective, I've always wanted to play a magicka khajiit and I'm glad they're allowing us the option.1 -
EpicRekkoning✭✭✭Don't forget that pets now take on the characters crit and crit damage. I haven't tried anything in PTS because I'm a console player, but sorcs have naturally high max magicka and spell damage. Could make for a nasty combo.0

If it was 2%, it's rather 1% on average between the Magicka races which is totally insignificant in the end.
