Immovable potions don't do anything against snares or roots, only stun/knockback/fear.

Well, maybe the snares in PvE are there for a reason after all?

They are there to annoy me. RM is there to make me happy. Now I have no happiness.

They don't care about PvE play. They only care about PvP. Everyone should know this by now.

Clearly, they do not care about PVP, so I cannot drink from the cup in front of you.

How so? Most nerfs are to please pvpers and have a huge impact on pver's. If you're saying this because of the neverending lag in Vivec that's irrelevant. It's not fixed because they can't fix it without breaking something else.

Lag will always be present in Vivec due to everyone refusing to spread out to other campaigns. Self made problem. You'd think this would be obvious to the folks who have been complaining about lag for years now. I rarely if ever lag in BG's or the other campaigns.

They seem to give little thought how pver's will feel because they know most will continue playing without causing an uproar like pvpers do.

This is one of those things that really need the decision maker to come in and FULLY explain just what they are thinking.

There’s already too many ways to nail someone’s feet down, and combined with the low amount of stam on a mag character rapids was the only way to shake off the irritating tedious delays.

Now, not only does break free immunity expire before a mag character could possibly regenerate enough stam to break free again, but the rapids option is not going to grant enough breathing room for maneuvering.

Every *** mag character is going to get stuck where they are, unable to do *** *** because of a stun applied after they did a break free, so they have no stam and are kneeling for beheading.

And that’s not just the pvp players, it’s every *** trash mob that does a snare or root or immobilize or off balance, and there’s LOTS of trash mobs ready to stun lock every *** PVE mag player across the entire game.

It's not just about lag. I had almost no lag during the recent event. But...

Stuck in combat, dying during a random load screen, multiple random load screens in short succession, enemy players walking through keep walls and doors without sieging...

I'm sure there are more I can't recall off the top of my head but some of these issues are years old.

In my opinion the nerfs don't stem from complaints from PVP players but from PVE players who got killed in PVP and cried about it.

I concede that PVP has gotten a little love, and I stress little, lately. I know there are more changes on the horizon as well but it seems to me that PVP is just an afterthought.

What did people use this for in PvE anyway? I use RM for farming, but you're avoiding all enemies while farming anyway so you won't be getting rooted/snared.

Is this a joke...lol?! They couldn't care less about PvP.
PvP gets couple of new sets every 6 months and maybe a new BG map if we're lucky, rest is PvE.

Come on now! First, can we please stop this nonsense about pver's scared of dying to humans when they die all the time against npc's? I never understood that logic. I feel you on those issues though except for the enemy players walking through walls the same happens in pve land as well, I assure you!

Secondly, we both know it's salty pvpers who think they should never lose who are the ones crying for nerfs all the time. The ones who refuse to alter their playstyle or build and rather everyone else suffer for it are to blame.

I'm an AVID pvper, though my time is spent in BG's rather than cyro, so please don't think I'm some pver who is scared of dying to humans. I just think credit should go where it is due and I'm glad you feel that pvp has indeed gotten some love over these past years, Bg's added, dueling, changes to cyro, changes to IC.

Now whether you like the changes or feel they are not worthy of discussion is a whole different debate lol!

If you play a justice character (thief, assassin, etc) this is one of the few defenses you have against chain rooting guards. Also, it's very valuable in dungeons/trials against mobs that root and snare.

    Must....not.....let.....thread....die....

If I lose rapids as it is, I'll have to kill everything. So much senseless killing. I may be traumatized as a player!

    (Crap...I don't even believe that.)
