Sorc mains, do you like pets?

The wonderful thing about them is they add variety. If you want to use a pet you can use one and if not it's not needed.

Sorry, let me scoot in here real quick. I chose a Dunmer Sorc on day 1 because I wanted pets. It was the worst playstyle I’ve ever experienced. Not at all what I wanted from a pet class.

Warden is a little better but not a single game has ever come close to vanilla WoW hunters. That is the high bar I hold all pet classes to.

Yes i would like pets to be commanded and with their own abilities like wow.

But all we have is a heavy attack on a target. Not much control at all.

I do, but I hate having to use them on both bars to keep them up. The cast time to bring them out is obscenely long, so I won't bother just putting a pet on one bar.

I like the functionality of pets but dislike the pets themselves. Why do they have to be daedric? Why can't we have some different themes? I had so hoped Warden would be the pet class I'd finally really like, looking forward to perhaps wolves and hawks...and instead I got stuck with Morrowind animals I dislike just as much.

Absolutely agree. In my head, one of my wardens is part of the Wyrd but man, I hate that she's stuck with Vvardenfell pets rather than something more native to her home region.

I have 2 sorcs, neither pet builds. I can't stand them. When I first started playing my sorc (way back in the day), she originally started as a pet build. I loathed it. I switched her to a stam sorc tank and haven't looked back.

I don't know if people would have liked it but it would have been cool if the Wardens Pets were race specific. Redguards could have Dunerippers instead of Shalks, Khajiit could have a Senche instead of a bear etc...

That could be pretty cool actually though I always prefer options as opposed to being locked to something specific, so the option to apply different skins would be my #1 choice for all the pet skills.

Of course, some of the options could be regionally themed but players could pick and choose their skins, just as they pick and choose their costumes. There are so many different options and color variations that could help give players diverse and unique styles while also (if priced correctly - not exorbitant outfit slot pricing, lol) potentially being a huge source of crown revenue.

I don't have mains, although I do have six sorcerers across a couple of accounts, and on a couple of servers. Some of them use one pet, some more than one, and some none. Much the same with wardens, as it happens. I voted "Yes" simply because where I have pets I like them.
