Lost guilds, all friends and cant login to two of my characters...

Basically what the title says, slightly different though.

One character which is in Stonefalls, cant log in to it without getting an "Unknown Error". Another character that I can log into gets an "Unknown Error" when I try to leave Bleakrock for Bal Foyen, and promptly kicked out of course even if that goes without saying.
My Aldmeri character I can log into and apparently play. An hypothesis as to why that is may be because I have not logged into that character since joining the guilds that are just suddenly gone, one of which I was leader of at that. Friend list is also empty for some odd reason.

These issues are really starting to *** me off... First friday and re-installing the whole game due to the wonky launcher, then that same issue again today which resolved itself after a good long while. Then after that I still couldnt log in without getting an "unknown computer" message, when I finally got that email with the code the game didnt ask for it but allowed me to play for some 20 minutes until I needed to leave Bleakrock... And then with the kicking and "Unknown Errors". And then again asking for a code, which came right away for once, not that it solved a damn thing.

So that leaves some five hours of prime time which has gone completely to waste... And then also possibly making a few characters unplayable, which in turn takes away a good chunk of hours invested...

What would the recompense be for losing some 30 hours in-game progress, several hours of wonky maintenance issues basically every time there has been scheduled maintenance for the last week... What would that be?

Found this solution in another thread regarding a similar issue which worked for me:

    Windows 7:

    Click on the Start button
    - Type cmd in the Start Menu
    - Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
    - Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter
    - If it was successful, you will see the message "Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache."
    - Power cycle the router to clear the cache so that it doesn't store the bad route

    Just tested @ 21:43 CET

This worked for me... For now at least.

Well, basically I logged off prior to the recent patch/new content, and when I logged back on, I had lost all my characters. Thats about 8 days worth of playing, bout 6000g and a level 19 character. I logged several tickets and an email and got this.

I have lost all my characters from early access. I logged off prior to the patch update to

Azura smiles on our meeting, Burning Bright!

Thank you for contacting The Elder Scrolls Online Team. I'm really sorry to hear you lost your character. Unfortunately, I regret to inform you that for technical reasons, we are unable to restore your character at this time.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may bring to you. This is something that is being investigated and we hope to solve this issue in the near future.

I have to say, if things like this continue, I will be cancelling my subscription. There really is no point paying for and playing a game when you lose all progress every time they update something major. Sort of defeats the object of the game.
I understand that its a new game and there will be glitches, but I've played from launch at least 4 MMO's and never had this problem.
