Error 326 - Character Jail Day 4

After exploring Khenarthis Roost, Auridon and some of Grahtwood in my first 5 days after being saved by The Prophet, I was taken prisoner by TESO Agents. They didn't like my given name and forced me to change it. I did so gladly with the hopes of being released from captivity. But it was a ruse!

80+ hours since my imprisonment and I still have not been freed. One TESO Agent answered one of my many pleas for help only to tell me that they don't know why I am in jail, why I am not being freed, or how long I will be in this wretched cell. All I know is that I have been charged with something called Error 326 (which they don't seem to fully understand).

My pleas now go ignored by the guards to the point I'm not sure if they even know I am in here. I had such plans for my adventuring through Tamriel. Now my crafting goes unresearched, my horse goes unfed, my hirelings are without a master and my peers have moved on, likely assuming I am dead.

I write this message with the hopes that I will someday be free again. Please help it get into the right hands.

    Quadruple bump. Squeaky wheel gets the oil. Or gets thrown away. One of the two. Starting to worry that I only have a couple more bumps in me because I'm not sure what comes after Septuple.

    Thank you for the risk you just took to provide me with some way to pass the time. I understand why you wouldn't look for the guards. For all you know you could end up in the cell next to me (if you aren't already locked up).

    I'll bump it for you, because I had no idea there are agents or jail.
    On difefrent note, this might be a bad time, because everyone is prolly focused on solving the EU magaserver and/or email issue.
    Failing is a lifestyle too.

    Amazing you are allowed to say bump, my forum post asking for help on a bugged main quest was deleted after I bumped it.

    Edit: Earlier I was selected for a customer service survey. I ripped them every way I could. There is no customer service.

    Very true. But I'm wondering if there will ever be a time (in the near future) where some my problem will be more important than some other ESO issue. Its a new game so there will likely be problems for weeks. Will I have to wait weeks to be able to play my main character?

    I remember reading that on your post which gave me a lot of hope (even though the one time I got someone from tech support on the line they told me I didn't have any bans or holds on my account or characters) that last night when my 72 hours was up that I would be able to play again. It came and passed and still locked.

    I wish I knew who reported me (if that is in fact how my character name was brought to their attention), some hypersensitive piece of sh*t who gets offended by every little thing. Makes me sick. Grow some thicker skin.

    I'm in the same position. 85+ hours of being locked, and not even told what for. Patriot Act in full affect for Tamriel. I am pretty bummed to spend extra money to play early, and then have it taken away from me. :(

    Neither. I've been on 3 phone calls and have sent over 7 emails now. You will just sit and rot, and pay money to do so.

    I just received two emails responding to my tickets. One said that it was being sent to the correct department for an answer, and the other was just sent to close a duplicate ticket because the other one had already been sent on. Hopefully this gets cleared up soon.

    I would certainly hope so, tho I also thing the issue where most of Europe is unable to play or half-deleted will take precedence any time.

    But I do hope they will stabilise soon enough, there seems to be a huge difference in what experience people are getting with the support, from "So helpfull and fast!" to "Hello? It's been a week, anyone home?".

    If noone's mentioned it by now, DO NOT respond to the email tickets unless prompted, or deliberately trying to re-open a closed ticket, because it seems to mvoe you back to the bottom of the queue as a re-opened ticket.

    Of course I have no way of being sure that this is true, and no way to ask anyone.

    It's been almost 3 1/2 hours since my "ticket was sent to the correct department to be fixed" and it has still not been fixed.

    Honestly if you want your character name to be Satan I believe that is entirely your right and you should be allowed to. Using the name hurts no one.

    Rules to protect fragile minds that cannot handle critical thinking or opposing views makes me sad. It is not a man's obligation to not offend. It is his obligation to keep life in perspective and not be offended.

    In short, when I say something offensive I've done nothing wrong. It's the fault of the offended for being offended. It's called grow the f--- up and deal with it. (That's not a statement directed at the OP)

    OP it's terrible you've been imprisoned for using a harmless collection of letters that reminds some of the backward and ill informed religious past of our species. I hope it gets fixed for you.

    Does this mean the NHL has to ban Miroslav Satan from playing? Yes, that is his actual name.

    Wow, I didn't even think of Zlatan being close to Satan (Zlatan is the first name of a soccer player who is one of my favorites).

    After close to 90 hours, they finally unlocked my character. Still no contact, no email, no nothing saying it was unlocked or anything. Just randomly tried to log in and it worked. Hope everyone else has the same luck!

    PS- pls ZOS, offer better customer support.
