I mean one similar to PC. Skyshards and lorebooks that you haven't found. As an xbox player i have always thought this was so needed. And im not alone. I have the game on PC, i have leveled characters, i know how insanely easier it is with that add on. This seems like the perfect opportunity to give this to the console community. But after trying it on the PTS, and re reading the patch notes, Im thinking that it does not do this?

And if im correct my only question is why?

It would be awesome so that if you have found the lorebook/skyshard on one character on your account then the location shows up the zone guide. Not the same as the PC mods, as they don't take into consideration on whether you have found them or not, but still a welcome change.
Crown Crates are a trap. Don't fall for the gamble! Balance? What Balance? Balance, smellance.
    Necro for them RP feels.

Ya i would even take that. Its just a shame how bad things are for console. Play both platforms is really eye opening.. Idk, maybe im wrong but since we dont have access to add ons , and with this new system, it seems like the most logical thing would be to include the lorebooks/skyshards in this..

I agree. I also have accounts on both Xbox and PC. Getting skyshards and lorebooks on pc is ridiculously easy. Ignorant pc-only users have mentioned in other threads "just pull up a map on your phone or pc, it's just as easy". Yeah, no. You still have to look back and forth, guess where exactly to place your pin, ride to the general vicinity, and then hope you stumble on it. Lorebooks can be especially tricky. If you can't see it immediately, you then spend additional time trying to figure out where exactly it is. And that's for one lorebook. Multiply that by...

When I started an account on pc, it was like a gift from the heavens having them already marked on the map. You literally just place your waypoint, then hit rapids and mad dash towards it. You always end up right on top of what you're looking for.

It's time ZOS - give console users a toggle on the map to show skyshards/lorebooks.
