Also do pets...count as an ally?

That set procs on allies only, and the cooldown is not per ally. Not sure about the pet thing since they do not run out of resources..

It does NOT proc on self, just wanted to confirm. This set is in fact quite strong. It gives 660 Resources per second, so it can be equal to 1320 recovery when it procs on CD...

Oh I love this set. Imagine Vigor and this and rolling. Sounds legit. I might throw a few pieces of well fitted on my nb and take off BS and put this on to see if I can mitigate having to run an actual defensive set.

ZOS said pets shouldn't proc effects. Unless this set is bugged, they shouldn't proc it either.

Earthgore does but thinking about was a stupid question since even if it did pets don't lose resources so wouldn't work on them

So this doesn’t proc from self healing?

If this set only procs on an ally and not yourself, and the cooldown is overall and not per person, this is a pretty useless set. You cannot control who gets the proc if you have a number of allies taking damage. Which means you will be giving out sustain to player who may not need it. You can't give it to yourself. And it still only applies to 1 player within each cooldown. At least Earthgore dops an AOE effect that could heal multiple players.

This set went from interesting and possibly OP, to completely useless.

So we're saying Symphony of Blades won't proc on yourself with a heal?....

Seen a few people were looking at running it using Rally to self proc for insane sustain between pots in longer fights.

Looks like back to the drawing board.

Possiblt OP? It was definitely OP and it isn't useless.

It doesn't proc unless they have less than 50% resources which means they do in fact need it if it procs.

Just a couple players running this will massively increase sustain for your group. Healer in BGs can run this and allow DPS to forgo any sustain requirements and max dps.

But can we confirm that it doesn’t proc on self?

My point is more that if you have more than 1 player who needs the proc, which will be the case more often than not, you can't control who it goes to. And forgo sustain requirements? That means that 2 out of 4 players at a time will have zero sustain for 18 seconds. That is not a good situation. And I said possibly OP because I haven' tested it personally and have only looked at in from a numbers on paper standpoint.

So, just so I have it straight:

If I am a healer wearing this set...it cannot proc on myself and it will only proc on one person in my group every 18 seconds, instead of each person with their own individual cool down?

Seems a little underwhelming, if it worked for everyone it would be insane though.

Duos with vigor would be fun.

That's what we said about earthgore when it first came out.
