Renamed this passive to Amplitude.
This passive is now a reverse execute mechanic, and increases your damage against targets by 1% for every 10% health they currently have.
The minimum bonus this passive can provide is 1% increased damage done

    hope this goes live. Double execute in one cast is absurdly demolishing. With this it is also a danger, having a 10% bonus damage on a target at the start of the fight, but it's better survivable.

    Ouch.... okay, this helps a lot in PvE, but implosion was very useful for the PvP burst, and I died countless times to that.

    I have noticed that sorcs in PvP(magicka) have good survivability, but their damage output is lower to allow for that. Implosion was a good way to finish off enemies.

    10% at a 100% HP target is not very much. It's a more reliable buff to their damage overall but better in the end? In PvE yes, in PvP rather not imho.

    I really like this. PvE it really gives sorcerers a boost, especially in a trial where a boss will spend a decent chunk of time at a higher hp %. PvP it makes it easier to get your target down into that execute range.

    Yeah, but getting a steady 10%, 9%, or whatever the target's health is at is better than a RNG chance that you might actually have Implosion go off. Regardless- you know that you're doing extra damage- no matter at what health level your enemy has.

    At 20% execute range, you'll be doing an extra 2% damage on top of your execute. If the enemy tries to heal- your damage will only increase against them.

    This is a nerf if you are StamSorc, and a buff for everyone else. A reverse execute damage increase is useless as you won´t match a StamBlade´s base damage, and as the STAMWARDENs are now the sole masters of Steel tornado.

    Long time sorc main, over 1500 hours.

    I love this change in both pvp and pve. First its a much needed dps buff in pve to both pet and non pet builds

    Secondly, this helps make sorc stronger in pvp while simultaneously removing one of the major complaints about sorcs - kill stealing. Stam sorcs especially were waaaay too good at it with implosion + spin to win

    This, paired with the destro staff passive change, and the Symphony of Blades monster set, could see sorcs in a better position next patch for PVP.

    One more step to boring game. I really loved that moments when everybody is dead or dying, boss at low hp and then implosion procs and suddenly boss is dead and all clear. You win.. now it's plain +5% to average damage.. powerful yes, but so plain and boring.

    It's not like Sorcs were welcomed in high end trials anyway but I feel like this is going to hurt them even more. Bosses get burned past first 10% quickly anyway and usually getting closer to execute enables more mechanics. Menaning you want to make execute phases as short as possible and sorc's DPS becoming weaker and weaker as the fight progress will be a detriment. Kinda same thing in dungeons.

    Sounds ok for PvP though

    Indeed.
    This is a major buff to Sorcerer in both PVP and PVE.
    It will help to bring the sorcerer's burst to be more inline with the other classes :)

    I like it, currently the proc is random. At least with the proposed change you know what youre getting. In trials with amplitude I might be optimistic but I kinda see sorcs as the ones bringing the bosses down to execute range for the blades and magplars. I hope at least.

    This provides a lot more damage compared to the normal implosion, i never seen it do more than 3 % of my total damage ever, and that's when i'm lucky, and iv'e done a lot, a lot of testing.
