I’m a lore-oriented, strictly solo PVE player. I play since 2016. I’m grateful for @ZOS for this Midyear Mayhem Event, and here’s my story.
I don’t usually PVP. Just because I don’t have a reason to. But this time the situation was different: tickets! At the beginning of Mayhem, I had only 3 Indrik feathers. I decided to earn more. I was afraid to go to PVP zone, yes. Yet there I went! My campaign was Kyne, below lvl 50.
What I learned is that PVP is fun. It is easy to find a group and it is easy to be useful. I had my tickets. I made a basic Indrik, and more – I even got a berry! I earned Vigor, Caltrops and War Horn. I made all achievements and I have my laurel adornment.
This event is a very important one. It shows players like me – a very SOLO players – that PVP is not only doable, but successfully doable and fun. I really enjoyed running with a ball at Battlegrounds. I really enjoyed fighting in Cyrodiil. It is all just because of the event. I’m happy that we have it! Thank you, @ZOS! And you know what… I’ll keep PVP!
P.S.: I had no lags. NO LAGS, and I’m serious. I played in high hours with crowds of people. No performance issues except one time: it was raining in Cyrodiil and I suddenly got a loading screen. I guess rain is something we don’t really need in Cyrodiil

And things I hate: when people don't let others to do dailies in Cyrodiil! At settlements like Vlastarus and Cheydinhall. Please, don't kill those who just want to earn tickets!

✭✭✭✭I'm glad to see that other solo PVE'ers have discovered the fun of PVP. I am, also, mostly a solo PVE'er but I have been enjoying Cyrodiil for quite some time now. I don't go there daily but only when the mood hits. My first foray into Cyrodiil was for Master Angler. I was invited into a group and had a blast fighting for keeps and resources. I died often but I still had a lot of fun.
And, yes, people on this forum seem to prefer negative posts to positive ones. I, for one, congratulate you on discovering that PVP can be fun.PC/NA/EP ✌️3 -

Like I said, I have been going to Cyrodiil for quite some time and I have only been t-bagged once. I have never received any hate whispers. I have, however, been chased down by groups. Just yesterday, a group chased me half way across the map to kill me. I just laughed, revived at the nearest keep, and went right back out there. I don't take any of it too seriously.PC/NA/EP ✌️3 -

Just try. I had my regular PVE gear and skills - but they worked just fine, and even surprised the enemies. I captured Vlastarus alone! Only mobs and 1 player enemy confronted me, and I won. I yelled to zone chat about my victory

The last two days were my first time in the under 50 campaign. As I had not bothered taking low level chars into the alliance war in the past.

Witchmother's Potent Brew (Increase Max Magicka by 2856, Max Health by 3094, and Magicka Recovery by 315 for 2 hours.
- Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
- Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

✭✭✭✭✭I had the same experience as you- PVP is a blast, and I discovered that I not only love Cyrodil, but I also really enjoy the battle grounds. Got my crown and title last night, and I'm very pleased Though I do wish I could get more AD down in the Imperial City so that I could get the achievements for killing the terrors and killing a trove scamp! ✭That's just brilliant @myskyrim26. As a PvE player, I had exactly the same experience in last year's Mayhem but joined too late to achieve Star Made Knight. Got the wreath this year and although it is probably laughably easy for a hardened PvP player, it is probably one of the few achievements I'm truly proud of. See you in Cyro.4 -

✭Yes I actually had more fun than expected ( I pvpd before but just to grind skills or in beta for the lolz). I didnt stop at the tickets cap or achievement. I had a couple of unbalanced bgs against premades and thats my biggest gripe I think. But definitely good times also in Cyro.0 -

✭✭Agreed, didn't change a thing on my. character. Made myself part of a siege crew. Died so many times I lost count. Doesn't matter. Got my skills, got out.So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.1
