✭I probably used at least 5 race change tokens over time to correct the mistakes I made when creating the characters as a noob and I guess now they expect me to pay again after they will blow up racials. Really rude.3 -

Yeah, they didn't mention anything about us getting a free name change. Because these changes are so substantial that they'll have the potential to force players to create new characters to replace ones they've sunk hundreds, maybe thousands of hours into?
Because the general idea behind making sweeping changes is to give players some sort of recompense to make transitioning over to the new system easier?
Because other games do a lot more than gifting 10 free race changes? Warframe completely reimburses players for everything they've lost when they rework systems in such substantial ways.7 -

✭✭I wonder if they will be limited to races in your current alliance - like they are now. CS once told me that even with Adventurer Pack - race change can only be to one of the two other races in your characters alliance. Any race, any alliance only applies to new characters.0 -

✭Unless they change the general theme of the race, ie Redguard - Stam DPS, Nord - Tanky, Altmer - Mag DPS. I won't have a need for a race change token at all.
It is if they drastically swing the all racials into a different field, then I'd need to do review the race, 1 token is not enough.
I think for every race where the field has not changed - no token. For every race that may have changed its field, ie mag to stam or all mag to a tri-stat, they should have a character bound race change token that expires after 3 months.

Exactly, if you're just balancing vs nerfing than that's different. If you're nerfing completely I want race changes per char. That or I want my money back that I've spent the last couple months. I refuse to be forced to pay real money because they want to nerf stuff(if that's what ends up happening). That or make it like 10k gold for the first 30 days after the change. You have to do something to look out for your community.4 -
