Login Timeout after Maintenance 4/7 (North America)

After Maintenance at 4/7 for the North America server, and after Server Updates tell me North America is up and running, I have the following error:

Login Error
Login timeout

That's it. No error code or anything. It seems to be the same kind of login time out as the EU server experienced.

The current time is 3:44pm EST April 7th

This thread says North America is up and running.

Resolved:

Apparently the client failed to patch, which was why the game couldn't login. Closing and reopening the client doesn't show it as downloading, but rather as 'Complete'.

So what I did was click the cogwheel icon, click "Check for Updates", where I soon got a popup that said 'Error 103 : Already Downloading'. Apparently it was downloading already without the UI displaying that it was downloading.

I closed the client down again, reopened, and there it was... blue bar moving, it was downloading. Patched, and logged in. Problem solved.

I am having the same issue. Say's server is up, but for the past 20 miin. every time I enter my password I get requesting log in and it times out

Same issue but EU.

My client times out... then logs in and fails again after character select.

Now asking for access code which takes longer to arrive than the window stays up

i cant check for updates from the launcher. how do i get it to update the version

So far, best advice for the problems that have been happening after the latest patch (thanks zenimax for the help...). It was happening to me to, so I followed this and its working for now. Thanks Elwynn.
