No one's telling you to "scrap" your old dog. You can have your faithful hound (still quite unbroken) and a puppy - the one has zero effect on the other.
You've seen another dog that catches a frisbee a slightly different way and suddenly determined your old dog less capable, all while he runs, jumps, and plays just fine.

No, it's certainly not. Again, this is the same counterargument why is should not be an option.It's about earned progress that you cannot replicate on a fresh character in less than a year (or couple).

You want something else on your main, but you can barely stand to work with a new alt. I don't know what to tell you about your predicament.
While your reasons may be noble and genuine, I suspect there is reason they have not offered this as an option up to now.
In the grand scheme, ,this entire debate serves little purpose, because it will be ZoS (translated: Marketing) that will ultimately decide if they offer this up as an option.
Convince them that it will make them enough money, and I doubt there's much they wouldn't put up in the crown store.

You're right, the sorc dog isn't hurt, he has terminal brain cancer because of zos. And don't even bother with the l2p stuff or slot a heal, ive tried every possible spec (even heavy armor) and it sucks bad compared to everything else, this is not the sorc i started the game with, heck i even tried turning my high elf magsorc into stam (lol) to see if it worked, it does, but it's as bland as it can be.

I love my main, his achievments and a world without undone questmarkers.

wayyyy less lol.
1-50 during event is 2 hours,
undaunted is 1 hour per day and you need like 7-9 days to get undaunted 9 if you get most achievements so lets say 9 hours,
mage guild 3 hours,
psijic 2 hours,
and then add all the other stuff you have to do like leveling alchemy, crafting training gear, leveling skilllines etc. and you end up with (lets be generous) 20 hours of playtime before the character is maxed and Raid/PvP-ready.
Doesn't matter how fast you can level, some people want there mains that have every single motif, pattern etc on them to be able to switch classes as well2 -

What the hell are you talking about? You said "who cares about titles", obviously those that want to keep them as they have said in threads like this do. It was not an exclusive isolated reason. People have been asking for account wide sky shards, lore books, etc etc for years.
My entire point as you have missed it apparently, is that you dont get to belittle people who value titles and what they mean for a character accomplishment and ignore the opposite of those wanting a class change to retain said accomplishments / titles as ONE of the reasons.0 -

Thaumic✭✭✭Yes, add the class change token.There really should be another option to this survey... class switching at will (outside of combat / dungeon / PvP /etc). We should be able to learn all class skills / skill lines on a single character, in line with previous TES games. It feels counter to the Elder Scrolls experience not being able to.
I'm not asking to use them all at once, just be able to learn them. Not abandon the class system entirely, just be able to switch between them. That other MMOs allow this (very effectively, to much praise and with no balance issues) and an Elder Scrolls game does not, feels so wrong. The ability to learn near everything has been such a hallmark of the series for so long. To have that freedom of choice and flexibility with your character, is a big part of what made me fall in love with these games. Now every class skill that my character can't take feels like a restriction of his freedom. Each class / skill added should be adding more choice for him, but instead it's effectively taking options away from him, out of reach.
Just from a practical standpoint I don't have the time to create and play multiple characters, and nor should I have to after spending thousands of hours developing the one I care about. Not just a 'build' but a Character!PAWS (Positively Against Wrip-off Stuff)2 -

That would be fine in of itself, but then they add 2 new classes. I just want my orc main to be a warden. That's all. If I knew warden was gonna be released when I created him as a nightblade I wouldn't have bought the game and just waited til morrowind.1
