Delete Bow

Bow is the most terribly balanced skill line in the game. Almost all of the skills are completely useless when outnumbered and completely overperforming when outnumbering. ZoS needs to delete the the bow and start over. There needs to be a bow in the game, but the current one is underwhelming and only truly shines when zerging down 4 people with 40. Lets get a bow with actually useful non bugged skills that are good for more than trolling smallscalers and RP.

Also, EVERY SINGLE WEAPON will be exactly like you said, OP on 40v4, an underperforming when 4v40. That's called *logic* not unbalanced skills. Derped hard, OP, derped hard.
Also also, l2p. Of all the bow-nerf whiners, you're the worst when asking for, not only a nerf if snipe, but a full wipe of skills.
And lastly, and probably irrelevant to your lack of skills, arrow spray has a rooting morph that serves EXACTLY for when you're outnumbered. It's your own problem if you are a meta chaser or just go with people tell you (poison morph), but there is a GREAT skill in for defense bows that very few people seem to recommend, and before coming here to cry, you should have read about it. This skills combined with your medium armor and the last passive for bows should be enough to help you get away from outnumbered situations quite easily. L2p.10 -

✭What is this constant complaining about the bow and associated snipe thing? I get killed once or twice in a 2hr Cyro run by snipers. I was pure pve when mayhem started, however I am busy adapting my build. Impen, more health etc. I can already feel the difference, however, what gets me killed more often is placement and situational awareness. Why is it such a big deal, with this event, they're wasting arrows anyway seeing as I rarely have an AP streak bigger than 3000k

Oh I dunno... ask the Bombblade that hit us at the Arrius Lumbermill. It was glorious, there were bodies everywhere. Took at least a minute to res everyone. If he hadn't been solo, we'd have had to play horse sim.0 -

Uviryth✭✭✭✭✭Well, Bow really need an overhaul in PvE. Right now the only thing you do with it is lay down an Endless Hail, throw in a Poison Injection, and then switch back to your actual weapon.
This has been the Bow-Playstile since the game came out.
I would love to play Bow on the Mainbar for once.1 -

— They always claim they’re “investigating” the causes, but in reality they’re just waiting until the PC EU players go to bed. Once that happens, you can suddenly log in again and they happily mark the issue as Fixed.1 -

I play a Bosmer Stam Sorcerer, with both bow on the main and the backbar, and it's great. No need for any other weapon.3
