- Addition of the Gold Coast with the DB dlc, I missed Anvil from Oblivion, and also a Kvatch that was not destroyed. I played the original Kvatch Rebuilt mod on Oblivion, and it was very interesting to see how the city in ESO compared to the rebuilt version of the original.
- It took a while to get accustomed to it, but i really like respec 2.0 now, except for the fact that when they put it into the game, they broke the way that the skill tree spells displayed progress, and the hotbar tooltips for the spells completely disappeared. It took several months for them to finally fix the progress bug, but they never did put the tooltips back in.
My favorite change is One Tamriel AND no monthly fees to play.
I hated the idea of not being able to travel Tamriel only until I have completed one the quests that let you travel else where, and hate the idea to pay to play a game. What Zenimax did to get me to pay monthly is a stroke of genius I would say, but at least they make it worthwhile to do, when before it wasn't worth while to pay.
Not my quote but I love this saying
"I would pay It for support. But since they choosed we are just numbers and not customers, i dont mind if game and zos goes to oblivion"
Transmute system, the change to vet dungeons that guaranteed a helm drop, and introduction of the Golden Vendor. Ooh and Orsinium double Maelstrom drops during the anniversary just to name a few...
Grand Master Crafter, Beta baby who grew with the game. PC/NA. @Sheezabeast if you have crafting needs!
To many to list. But for the most part all updates have brought alot of good change and even if I did not agree to them in time I could see why they happened.

One Tamriel. I love being able to go wherever I want, no matter my level.
The Craft Bag is also gravy, and allowed me to delete 2 mules.
For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen. - Douglas Adams
It is a rare mind indeed that can render the hitherto non-existent blindingly obvious. The cry 'I could have thought of that' is a very popular and misleading one, for the fact is that they didn't, and a very significant and revealing fact it is too. - Douglas Adams
The last Mac update patch, which now, hilariously, crashes the game every 20-30 minutes.
Actually, no. That's no fun at all.
I like that I can colour my toons in with the outfit system (vain I know, but somehow makes the game so much more immersive) and that motif knowledge is account wide. I like that guilds aren't single alliance (although it makes PvP in guild more complicated). I liked the Summerfall event. I like the World Bosses in Murkers, the mechanics are the right balance of challenging, understandable and complex. I like that the DLC dungeons seem to be becoming more than one-shot irritants. I like that most players seem friendly and collaborative. I really like playing the game when I'm not having a crashfest.
IC when it first dropped, honestly the most fun I’ve had in this game, make IC great again!
Overall, gotta be One Tamriel, making old content revelent again, freeing us to go do whatever we wanted. As many at Zos said at the time promoting it, it’s the world state they wanted from the beginning

Gifting crowns, which enables people like me to obtain dlc etc without paying for it.
Also, moving battlegrounds to the whole player base has allowed pve players like me to obtain war horn, vigor and caltrops a lot more easily. It also allows me to obtain ap currency without having to go to cyrodil.

horses not being maxed out after feeding them 60 times. (u'll be remembered speed 85 starlight)
sets dropping on char level (not being stuck with v12 adroitness on a v14 char)
coldfire ballistas
craftbag, double bank space and storage boxes
inner light becoming a passive (say "hi" to zelda little wisp)
mats scaling to craftinglevel
mazzatun greaves and fanged worm chests xD
dropping of writs anywhere
being able to use goodlooking styles w/o breaking 5-1-1 and/or ending up with a deadslot (rip stygian chestpiece)
2hander -> 2 setpieces
weapon glyphs being usefull; absorb stam glyph doing physical dmg
craftable, retraitable and upgradeable jewelry (the idea was good, the implementation still sucks)
OT -> play any zone on your level, the scaling could use some tweeks tho (leveling up should make u feel stronger and not weaker cause combat spirit fades; there should still be challenging areas for max levels like e.g. heroics in swtor)
One Tamriel. Being able to go where I want and do the quests in whatever order I choose is great, and one the things that really made this feel like a true TES game. Not to mention being able to play with people from any alliance.
Going back a bit but the update which added the collections menu, so we can swap mounts, pets etc. anywhere and they don't take up inventory space. I like to swap my characters look around a lot, and it's so much easier this way. And the various updates which added and expanded dyes.

So many things, but mainly One Tamriel, The Outfit System, The Justice System, Holiday events and the recent community based events. (Psijic Manor, Indrik event)

I got hooked on the game just when One Tamriel released. I played it a bit before, but it didn't really grab me somehow. I think that the level scaling and zones open to every race gives a lot more freedom and a lot more to explore.
I also love the outfit system, justice system, crafting bag, battlegrounds.
