So much negativity and complaining. Here's something positive!

A new game?
With problems?!
Unheard of!

Really though. This is to be expected. The developers aren't leaving us in the dark, but like every kind of work done, it's going to take time. Be patient.

I'll give a positive account on my end. I bought the digital CE and got all my CE goodies. I created a character and an hour or so in, decided I wanted to do something different, so I did just that. I deleted my character, but foolishly forgot that my collector's edition items were erased as well.

I put in a ticket...

And they helped me.

That's right. They helped me. They reimbursed my items in a timely manner. They are there people. And they are working on it.

Can't log in ? - do something else to pass the time rather than complain
Items deleted? - let them know, they'll help
Finding bugs? Submit them, and they will get worked on

It's not difficult. They are human, just like each and every one of us avid fans of the Elder Scroll Universe. Give them a break.

"They aren't leaving us in the dark?" I'm beginning to doubt they even HAVE a support staff for all I've heard of them on these forums.

Here's something positive: I'm POSITIVE they are terrible at this, and that I'll be appeased AFTER my game is working, not BEFORE.

Same, I've had an overwhelmingly positive experience.

I'm loving nearly every second of the game, and any time I've had an issue, Customer Service has responded in a reasonable amount of time.

I understand some people have reason to be frustrated, but... just be patient.

It's not so easy to launch such a large game.

SilverWF... from the way that 80% of the people are acting... no, it really seems like they don't understand! I've heard the word "refund" more in the last week than in the rest of my life... lol...

Yeah, I wonder if you say the same when you buy a TV or a car.

The new car won't start and the wheels are falling off? Well, it is new. Go do something else, take a bus.

And no, it doesn't have to be like that in an MMO. A strong team with a competent leadership and managers who demand uncompromising quality can go a very long way in preventing many of the issues we are experiencing.

Some problems are to be expected. Not being able to log into the game because they're not sending the verification e-mail is a bit ridiculous though.

It's not difficult. They are human, just like each and every one of us avid fans of the Elder Scroll Universe. Give them a break.

    1. People work, and at this time it is the only time they get to play, so if they are encountering random disconnects having trouble playing at all, they have every right to complain, they are paying for the service to allow them to play.

    2. Bugs, yes they happen, they should have been mostly ironed out during beta time, but unfortunately most beta testers are teens/kids who just don't beta test correctly and would rather play something before others, thusly bugs slip the net. Now again this is not the fault of the people who are experiencing them, so again they have every right to complain, especially with bugs that have been known for a very long time and continue to pop its head.

    3. Yes put in tickets of course, that is kind of obvious, why you have to tell people who are not happy with the service they are paying for that they should is kinda self gratifying. Some things you just can't put a ticket in for, and that is what this forum section is for to point out happenings a ticket wouldn't solve. You don't put in a ticket because you are being randomly kicked from the server changing instances do you? Of course not.

So people who complain come from all walks of life and are either unemployed or employed, either way their situations are different from everyone else... and they don't need the "you should be patient like me" speech.

I understand where you are coming from, however, the analogy you are using doesn't set a fair playing field. If we were to compare the monster that is Blizzard's World of Warcraft (Vanilla version, upon release) to the release of ESO, we would experience many parallels!

A development team, correct, will work as to what standards are set. Before WoW, there was much room to grow, as the MMO market was just starting to take off. These are the standards that ESO is being compared to, and that's quite unfair.

    How long have you waited?

I received mine approximately 20-30 minutes after my first attempt to log on.

Everything is working fine for me now.

God forbid they don't reply to each and every single person whining and complaining. Would you like a personal interview with Matt Firor himself, your majesty? They wouldn't want you to be dissatisfied after all.

I WANT half (at least) of these damn issues to be at the very least addressed in a sticky. Which they aren't. NONE of them are, you idiotic shill.

You're insulting somebody else because an issue they have nothing to do with? Okaaaaay big guy ;)

Ofcourse these people work hard on making the game as good as it can possible be.
But since we are customers that spend quit some money on this game, we have the rights to be a bit annoying. It also keep them sharp.

I have had no items refunded or returned, sent several tickets the first sent on the first day of early access. I have been unable to play for at least 3-4 of the days I have tried to play due to server issues or 'maintenance' (development more like).

Literally I feel as if I am being ignored and have been completely mis-sold the game. I do have other things to do and could do, but I wanted to play a game using a service that I paid for, I don't know about you guys but in England the law says the service or item you buy must be:

of satisfactory quality - last for the time you would expect it to and be free of any defects
fit for purpose - fit for the use described and any specific use you made clear to the trader
as described - match the description on packaging or what the trader told you.

So far none of this has held true, all thats happened is im £80 down and I haven't got anything to show for it in over a week of 'access' to the game I bought.

If the game was not ready for launch they shouldn't have launched it, I would be less likely to have requested a refund should they have just said 'We need another 2 months' than doing what they have done.

    Ahhh positivity....

I'm positive that if they ever get things fixed so I can play one of my characters without an error popping up that's uncertain of why it's there i'll be as positively happy as a pig frolicking in it's own faeces.
