I think it would be pretty cool to see these kind of staff open up in game. Being limited fire lightning ice has grown pretty old to me personally. And I think these could allow more players dive deeper into thier own build themes.
Maybe a disease/ poison staff could be stamina based?
Coldfire could be health based
Dark/blood staff could be another magic option

Nah, just have a passive in the Necro skill tree that turns Ice Staffs into Cold Fire Staffs. Boom, you got a DPS staff for necro, or a utility staff for everybody else. Would be nice if the skill was toggle-able so Necro can use it as utility too.0
