Are you happy with the way Zos handles cheating/exploiting and bots?

it does indeed look like he is jumping with a bunnyhop from the tower :)

That's not even close to the same thing and looks like a normal jump, maybe if you jump from the tower and capture that it will look the same.

I 100000% echo your frustrations with reporting people. I’ve taken the time to record video and take screenshots of copious amounts of bots and people who were literally all CAPS screaming expletives and slurs about trans people, gay people, non-white people, etc, and half-step of awful “player” in-between that makes the game environment less welcome and fun for the rest of us, only to get the same canned response. I understand why they give that response - as others have mentioned, it’s fairly status quo amongst games - but when you see those same players doing those same things 1/3/5 days later, it makes the effort feel fruitless. If ZOS isn’t going to protect the environment of their game, why should I?

Regarding your specific clip: it does seem a tad strange, but I would hardly call it damning. His movement sort of reminds me of strafe jumping in Quake, which even on PC - I’m a Console player - I don’t believe is possible. I’ve seen people running pure speed, scroll-running builds, and using invis pots it’d explain some of his disappearing act, but it wouldn’t explain everything. I still don’t think it’s appropriate to pull out the pitchforks and torches yet though.

A lot less height and distance but yes there are similarities. But how is this kind of jump achieved and it still does not explain how he seems to teleport to the other side of the keep 44 sec in to the video.
I am trying to understand but need a lot more explained like how this kind of jumping is possible without using an exploit or hack.

I just think that if ZOS finds that the player is not cheating then they should say and clear away the doubt. If that were to happen and I got it wrong I would then post an apology in the forum to the player. That way they remove the doubt and show that they have indeed taken the report seriously. The only person who would be harmed by this would be me as I made the report of cheating and got it wrong. But as things stand I will never know either way which sucks.

I was also a bit naïve thinking people would not find the video as I can hardly ever find things I am looking for, but I guess there isn't to many Waylander 07 youtubers.

For future reference, when uploading a video - and after uploading, via the YouTube Studio - you can set a video to “Unlisted”. This will allow you to give the share link to specific people so that they may view it, but it will not show up on your public profile, or in public searches.

Message to those who said I was wrong for reporting ex emperor
Ok after having had someone explain and show me what the ex emperor is doing and how he does it I am convinced that though I am sure it is an exploit it does take skill and i think it should be allowed. I have asked for my complaint to be withdrawn. Not sure it will do any good but its all I can do. I was 100% convinced the guy was cheating and it may be considered cheating by ZOS but if I could go back in time I would not have reported him. This is the only time in 5 years that I have reported someone and will probably be my last.
Big thanks to the player who took the time to explain in Cyridiil

cheaters were let off the hook in the past. it shouldn't be that way, though.

As someone with experience handling issues similar to what the support team in ESO has to deal with, I understand why the outcomes of investigations into potential rule violations are not disclosed. Protecting privacy is a significant component of that, and this issue applies regardless of whether or not "real names" are used or not. It's better for everybody involved if these things are not spread around in the open for gawking. The lack of disclosure doesn't make me think they aren't doing anything about it, even though that's what it can seem like from the perspective of someone who isn't on the support team. I understand that after I file a report, it's out of my hands (as it should be).

    Simple answer:

    No

On the matter of privacy being the reason why ZOS doesn't release information regarding how they handled the infringement, well, that is all community speculation.

Privacy laws are all over the place depending on where you reside. In my area of the world for instance select information is private: personally identifiable information:
    • A first and last name.
    • A home or other physical address, including street name and name of a city or town.
    • An e-mail address.
    • A telephone number.
    • A social security number.
    • Any other identifier that allows the physical or online contacting of a specific individual.

The law states that all other information regarding an individual's online data is not private. I don't understand how a statement from ZOS saying that the particular situation has been addressed and closed, is an invasion of an individual's privacy.
