Please Zos, when the Necromancer class will be released, please add a class change coupon
I dont care if using this coupon will reset every skill line to 0 ( except crafting of course ), ive been waiting for a necromancer class since the game release and i play a magblade since then to "compensate" it, and like a lot of player, i dont have the motivation at ALL to grind again, i got some titles on my main character that requires too much work ( Former Empress, grand overlord and such ) and i know im not the only one there

And how the existence of an "Necromancer Grand Overlord", from OTHER PLAYER, will affect you in the game???

I agree with OP, not everybody has the time to grind from lvl 1 till 50, then skyshards, then the same quests that give skill points, then undaunted/mages/psijic/fighters/assault/support tree lines, to fit for an group content (whatever casual or endgame) that they want to do on this necro class. Mainly, for those who cares about their OWN titles/achievments (instead of you caring about others player titles), a class change token or necro as skill line would be great.

Come necromancer, half the available classes will be things you couldn't have at day 1, with the sheer amount of content, uncluding motifs, hms, ava ranks, hm and no death stuff,id say is utter preposterous not having an option to change class, even if its just a one time thing

They didn't relent on class change tokens when Warden was released.

I don't really expect them to do so this time either.

Except with the amount of person that requested it after, maybe they will learn from it and actually do it, they became way more greedy when it come to money since then, and releasing a class change is easy buck

I agree, I do not see a class change happening.

I do expect the Necromancer class will have a few skills or abilities that will make people call it "Over Powered" and "P2W" and a major nerf to those skills or abilities in the very next update.

Probably the pvp crowd who'd rather see new skills nerfed than learn to deal with them.
Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.

For me, the biggest issue was catching up in terms of quests.

I wanted the warden to become my new main for questing, so I wanted them to play through the story in order/make the same decisions as my previous main (dialogue changes when you don't play the story in order/depending on what decisions you make, and I give a *** about that kind of stuff). I didn't even do side quests, and it still took dozens of hours.

Yea, this would actually be a very sound business decision on ZoS' part to release class skill line tokens.

They'll figure that the potential for profit is greater with exp scrolls, horse training scrolls, etc. And keeping you logging in for a couple months than a one time token to take your lvl 50 horizontally to a new class. But in all seriousness, I've started a Stam sorc and with around just 1 hour per day, sometimes more, it's at lvl 38 in about 2 weeks and a half. That's just with using the free xp scrolls from logging in. It really doesn't take long to level a toon if you do it efficiently.

Just make players who use class change tokens have an icon next to their name much like the Transmute function does.

I'm not even going to be out of the alliance zone quests when I hit 50, haven't touched the main story, cadwells is nice once for achievement but not needed since 1T, and every new toon you make has to rank up in the alliance war. Time from lvl 3-50 is nothing and zos will make more without offering class change tokens, those are the points lol.

I mean the point of the OP, leveling up is ridiculous, i can max lvl a toon in 6 hours with extreme grind. The point is to be able to keep hard earned stuff as your main in a new class

Zos wants you to make new toons to keep you grinding. That's how mmorpgs have come to work. And yes, your [insert class name] did those achievements, not your [insert class name] that's now a necromancer. They will probably increase character slots like they did for Warden and that'll be it.

I have a character I've been wanting to turn into a necromancer FOREVER. He's completely maxed in everything, including Undaunted. I'd hate to have to do all of that all over again. Really, most of the skill lines would be ok to have to do over again except for Undaunted, because it takes so dang long, and doing dungeons isn't fun for me.

I was hoping it would be a skill line and not a class, because it would have been great to just add necromancer skills to the character I have already.

    *Sigh*
I saved his face stats, though (from the character creation menu), so I can at least re-create his face if I decide to.
