Pls no, dont want to see necromancer grand overlord on release date.....
And how the existence of an "Necromancer Grand Overlord", from OTHER PLAYER, will affect you in the game???
I agree with OP, not everybody has the time to grind from lvl 1 till 50, then skyshards, then the same quests that give skill points, then undaunted/mages/psijic/fighters/assault/support tree lines, to fit for an group content (whatever casual or endgame) that they want to do on this necro class. Mainly, for those who cares about their OWN titles/achievments (instead of you caring about others player titles), a class change token or necro as skill line would be great.

How about an instant max Level token?
With skilllines, weapon lines, armor lines, Guild lines maxed?
Class change will never happen what is more likely to happen is a level 50 token with maxed out skilllines and Account wide archivements.
I already suggested such things but overall the community didnt really liked it. "You want it, earn it". But now a new class comes and everyone wants a class change token to not do all the grind again. This community......

That's not a fair comparison.
If somebody played 1000 hours on their main, they have earned what they earned in those 1000 hours and changing the class on that character, without granting anything additional than what was already earned, then it would not be buying levels or buying something that isn't earned. If somebody changed their class at 10 hours of total gameplay and they're lvl 35, then a class change token would logically keep them at lvl 35, just with a new class.
If somebody played ESO for 1 hour and bought a token that granted them instant maxed levels, those maxed levels would not be earned.

Like, REALLY cash money good idea type *** lol

And yes, your [insert class name] did those achievements, not your [insert class name] that's now a necromancer. They will probably increase character slots like they did for Warden and that'll be it.

I don't really expect them to do so this time either.
I agree, I do not see a class change happening.
I do expect the Necromancer class will have a few skills or abilities that will make people call it "Over Powered" and "P2W" and a major nerf to those skills or abilities in the very next update.
@victory.immortalb16_ESO it takes <25 hours to hit Undaunted 9, and it's only a 6% gain at best. You can have half the benefit by the time you do reach 50, simply by doing the daily randoms as you level.victory.immortalb16_ESO wrote: »I'll happily level up another toon slowly (rather than rush it to 50).
My only gripe is the undaunted line, which takes forever to level up and could be easily fixed by giving points for public dungeons and maybe one or two points for completing delves out in the world- as finding groups for the daily dungeons isn't always easy.

In fact I think ONE ought to come free with the purchase of the chapter, since that's likely when we'll be seeing this. At least for those that pre-purchase. It would also be smart of them to throw us that bone since after the release of Morrowind they then turned around and gave it away with Summerset and turned it into DLC where it is much cheaper than it was at release. This... really stung a lot of people. And made many folks determined to just wait for Summerset to be treated the same way. And the price of Summerset has come down a great deal from its initial release. So in order to hook us into buying early, and at full price, Zeni would be wise to bait us with some VERY NICE additional perks and I do mean beyond yet another "exclusive" costume.

Unless they go full greedy mode and make pre order have necro included, after that its a separate item for only 3k crowns
players want to change their main without loosing achivements, sky shards, books, quests and any other progress. Even if class change token will release, my advice is to think twice before changing.
You may regret about it, especially if they add something like a class change cooldown for like one year.

I have so many max level Sorcs I can EASILY switch at least one of them over to Necromancer without feeling at all bad about it. Seriously, this needs to be a thing!

Necromancer feels very like, playing a dremora you know, or a worm cultist. Everyone in tamriel hates necromancer, fighters guild, mages guild. If they do implement them, they're probably going to make a big "historical change". Because at one point necromancy became common place. Will it be now?
