✭✭✭✭✭I have to say, I'm not surprised- I recently retired from devoting all of my time to another MMO, picking up ESO instead, and I have no regrets. Even though I only picked up ESO during a free weekend out of curiosity...I ended up staying. I still play my other games, but ESO is, hands down, a whole different experience from the run of the mill MMO. I've played a -lot- of MMO's in my time, and I honestly can't believe I overlooked ESO until now.PC l NA

I'm not saying ESO is bad, there just haven't been any good triple A MMO releases in some time to even put up a fight. Final Fantasy is the runner up.That should tell you something. Yes that was an shock to me, yes ESO quests are way better and as I understand FF14 crafting is something else above ESO.Surprised not even WoW was a runner up lol
But always thought WOW was the king of raids and endgame.

Now this is an scary reminder, like Mannimarco as an lich climbs into your bed and wispier we will all die into your ear.
Grinding just make you go in circles.

✭✭What are their critiera to decide this? I would not rate ESO nearly as high until they make the build system have a point to it by nerfing the meta compared to unique build options. It's true there will always BE a meta but it doesn't mean said meta has to be head and shoulders better and hence what everyone demands you use or GTFO. if the meta was only 2% better most people wouldnt care.Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters. Play as well as you can but never betray the character. Doing so would make playing an mmoRPG pointless.1 -

Meesha1170✭✭✭✭ESO is the only MMO I have ever played so it’s comforting to hear that I’m not missing out on anything since I’m playing what’s considered the best.
