ESO is a great game, albeit with some issues, the competition is really lacking and WoW messed up badly with BFA.
Really looking forward to the next Chapter though and seeing how Zos goes about strengthening its position by improving its content even more and importantly its performance and hopefully doesn’t sit back focus on mainly generating revenue like other developers have done.Edited by Parrot1986 on January 5, 2019 12:21PM0 -

How ironic you're seemingly posting this in defense for ESO, where performance issues are ignored in favour for exploiting new players with RNG real money loot boxes.2 -

The market has been plagued by studios hoping to cash in on the World of Warcraft Market. While there are a lot of players, there are also a lot of choices, with players able to really graze at the buffet like never before. It makes it harder for any one game to stand out, but a few do. MMORPG probably didn't choose that because it would bite with the disappointment award for Battle of Azeroth (which really disappointed indeed).
Blizzard is actively trying to destroy their games at the moment and show no signs of slowing down despite the negative feedback from their customers.
