All 5 Indriks Confirmed

  • Goobertron
Still confused. I guess I missed the announcement from ZOS earlier that states I should continue to purchase feathers from the Impresario as I gained Event Tickets throughout this last event where I could use them for new Indriks after I transform my existing one by using the berries. Or am I missing something? Sounds like we will need to spend 10 event tickets for each feather again as well as event tickets for berries?

If that is the case it would have been nice to know rather than maxing out on event tickets during this last event.

Someone asked about purchasing more feathers back in November and they posted a reply letter from a ZOS employee that essentially told them NOT to buy more feathers. Here is a screen shot from that post. But in another post and on the Sweepstakes Official rules page, they encourage you to buy more tickets. Imho I feel ZOS dropped the ball on explaining how this works when they originally announced the Indrik Mount.....or did they do it on purpose to keep us in the dark. I believe we will never know.

Why would they encourage us to spend tickets on extra feathers , when they knew all along they would be selling tickets in the crown store? Certainly explains why they ignored the questions for months.

Also, it seems like you have to buy all 4 Dawnwood Berries even if you dont want a Dawnwood Indrik at all cause you can only stack 10 tickets...

If you don't want to evolve your indrik to Dawnwood, buy the feathers instead berries.. You will need them to make more indriks in future.

But I already have enough feathers for 2 and I only want the Golden and the White ones...

Event tickets in the crown store. People are gonna go ballistic. Lol

People will over react about anything. Selling the tickets in the crown store would be no different than selling the mount except this time you can earn it in game if you don't wanna spend the money. I don't see an issue here.

Little concerned about the event tickets being in the crown store but the good thing is event tickets seem to be here to stay so what I plan to do is use my tickets on the berries since they're limited, and then bank them as I go. Collect each of the berries in each quarter then gather the nascent indriks afterward and evolve as I earn the tickets for the feathers after I have all the berries.

Seems the most logical way to do it to me.

Except for the fact that we don't know if Indrik feathers will be obtainable after this year. It seems likely to me that if each quarter only offers specific berries that are not available afterward and there are four quarters, that they intend for all four Indriks to be earned in this calendar year. You can, of course, buy the berries as you go and wait to evolve your Indriks later, but you still need to be purchasing additional feathers throughout the year. Otherwise, after the fourth quarter, they may switch to something else to use event tickets on. Unless, of course, they're blowing smoke about berries only being available in a specific quarter, and what they're not telling us is that they'll be available again next year, in their respective quarters.

Regardless, I'd suggest buying extra feathers as you can, especially because we can only hold 12 tickets at a time. I already have 3 of the 4 Indrik feathers (extras) in my bank. I also have 7 tickets in my inventory. I could have bought an extra of the fourth feather, but I didn't feel like staying up past midnight or getting up early the final day and do a dungeon before 9am CT.

I'm already burnt out from this past fall's events, so I'm not really looking forward to a year full of 4 events each quarter. Doesn't leave much time to actually play new content. Also, I'm guessing that since they're calling the upcoming Midyear Mayhem an "Encore" that there will still be the usual Midyear Mayhem in the summer. That's just a guess, of course, but they may have wanted to offer 2 PvP events this year and also to have enough events to do 4 each quarter.

Tbh. I'm tired of doing all the events, I have 7 feathers and just can't see me doing the midyear mayhem in Jan but the way it's been run so far tells me I can miss it and still get all 4 berries in over runs from the other ones.

Having said that if someone wants to buy the mount good for them. I'd have easily invested an insane amount of hours into the event anyway so frankly it was probably cheaper to buy it than constantly loose time doing the events.

This is a win win for Zos and players everywhere as if you want it for free you can, if you miss a event you can catch up and if you just can't be bothered or don't have the time then you have the option to buy it.

What new and exciting events did they announce to coincide with this? I'm burnt out on the same ol same ol. If it's the same events as always I'd rather buy feathers in the crown store. I don't think ZoS would want me to skip content and go straight to the crown store...would they?

I only need one. If I can easily morph the nascent into dawnwood, fine. If not, it can be nascent forever. I'm not going any further down this road. I don't duplicate mounts (not even for different skins) so.... *thumbs nose at ZOS*

I never checked, but are the feathers (or berries in the future) marketable? I mean if I'm playing anyway and earn tickets anyway, might as well buy more feathers and berries I don't want and then sell them to those who do... Is that feasible?

(I have to say the indrik runs like a 3 legged camel, with one leg longer than the others, but since I'm earning the tickets anyway...)

If you don’t want to buy them why would you care if someone else does? Never understood the constant complaining about stuff like this.

Not thus far. The feathers were bound on pickup, and on the PTS (at least judging from the screenshot I've seen) the berries were bind on pickup as well.

(On a semi-related note, this is actually the one reason why I'm unhappy they're selling them in the Crown Store. It's not that I don't want them to be sold in general, it's just that I would've loved to give feathers I've earned through tickets away to other people. But maybe then people would've sold them for outrageous amounts, so eh... don't know which alternative is better.)

Yea, as I have always said, ZOS is all about "busy work." Keep the players busy so they don't have time to complain. And yes, we called it....ZOS putting the tickets into the Crown Store. So essentially if you have a life outside of ESO and you can't spend every day in the game, don't fret, you can spend you hard earned money on tickets in the Crown Store to purchase your "recolored" Indrik Mount.

What I really find funny about their post is how they are moving the MIDYEAR MAYHEM to January, I mean REALLY? Lets just change the entire yearly calendar and instead of the middle (Mid) of the year being in July like it has always been, we are going to move it to January. Someone at ZOS has been drinking too much of that Skooma.

    Midyear Mayhem (Summer):

    (2018: July 26th - August 6th )
    (2017: July 20th - July 31st)

I'm honestly thinking that we will get an actual Midyear Mayhem event in the usual middle of the year because the January crown store showcase specifically called this "Midyear Mayhem encore event" implying that it's an additional one, rather than THE mayhem event

So many events centred around one mount with variations...

The concept is OK, but I dislike that you are limited to a mount, instead of other collectables.

I also don't understand why the vendor is seasonal.

The fact you can buy tickets in CS is same like motifs, you can farm Cloudrest veteran or pay 5k crowns.
