I wish it was clear to me. This is from the official article:
"Once you have all four unique Indrik Berries, use any of them to transform your Nascent Indrik mount, replacing it in your Collections UI with a new, evolved one!
The first set of Indrik Berries that arrive with 2019’s Q1 events (January – March) allow you to transform your current Nascent Indrik into a Dawnwood Indrik!"
So, it does not matter which one of 4 berries I feed him, I'm still going to get Dawnwood Indrik? If yes, then why da heck will I have to collect all 4 berries? If that's not the case, why does it say that it will be Dawnwood Indrik???
ESO, you cannot be any more confusing about this event!!!
The first set of berries gives you the Dawnwood Indrik. If you prefer a different Indrik you will have to wait for the next event.
I hoped that all berries would be available at once, so that each player could choose their evolution. Instead everyone, or at least most of us, will be going round with the same Indrik, at least for the first phase.
@whitecrow , I thought so too, but then I reread the article and it says use ANY of them. It does not say use ALL.

But that in turn suggests there will be 4 events EACH QUARTER for the duration of the year.

about time they confirmed the number of indriks though (outside of the help menu). people have only been asking/assuming since october.

Yep, that's what they're saying.

As for too many events, you don't have to take part or simply do one quest. not sure how this work for PvP is one battleground enough?

This is an incorrect assumption.
For Q1, the only berries available at the Impressario will be the Dawnwood berries. Each berry requires 10 event tickets just like the feathers. You will need 4 dawnwood berries (I hope they stack) to morph your nascent indrik.
Remember that some events offered more than one event ticket per day, so you will not need 4 separate events to get the 40 required tickets. Keep in mind, also, that you'll want to start acquiring duplicate feathers once you've spent your 40 tickets on berries.
You guys are basing your assumptions on a non-sequitur that each Q1 event offers a different kind of berry.
That being said, there may very well end up being 4 events per quarter, but it won't be because of your logic.
- Midyear Mayhem (In January!) – Dawnwood Berries of Bloom
- Morrowind Celebration – Dawnwood Berries of Budding
- Thieves Guild & Dark Brotherhood Celebration – Dawnwood Berries of Growth
- Jester’s Festival – Dawnwood Berries of Ripeness

Not sure that's correct since each event does offer a different berry:
[*]Midyear Mayhem (In January!) – Dawnwood Berries of Bloom
[*]Morrowind Celebration – Dawnwood Berries of Budding
[*]Thieves Guild & Dark Brotherhood Celebration – Dawnwood Berries of Growth
[*]Jester’s Festival – Dawnwood Berries of Ripeness
I know it doesn't say explicitly, but I think the safe assumption is you will need 4 different Dawnwood Berries to evolve your Indrik. I will say, however, that you are probably correct that you will get enough tickets for the 4 different berries without having to participate in every event.

Ugh. Where'd you get that info? I hadn't seen it. I just assumed it would be 4 generic dawnwood berries. That's what I get for assuming I guess....
Also, it seems like you have to buy all 4 Dawnwood Berries even if you dont want a Dawnwood Indrik at all cause you can only stack 10 tickets...
Does the evolved Indrik fly or grant buffs or something?
It doesn't seem to be worth the extended hassle really. Have lots of mounts already. Many are a lot cooler than the Indrik.

I can understand some people being miffed about the tickets they worked for now being available to buy, but given the monetised nature of this game what did you expect? Is it really that surprising?
