Proc sets should scale off of resources and damage stats instead of being flat damage values... boom problem solved... no more tanks builds that do damage solely with proc sets

    Hahaha to this.

My 55k Magic Magplar would instead become a 51k Magic Magplar who would essentially resemble Thor. Careful what you wish for.

Side notes: I’m a vamp, but I don’t need Mist Form. With enough Magic shields still work just fine. The only reason I haven’t dumped being a vampire entirely is because of Undeath, arguably the best passive in the game.

There are way too many people on here that think you have to do certain things to be good at PVP. PVP is what you make of it. Chances are most of you could kill me one on one reasonably easily. I counter that by being able to fill up a kill 40 in the time it takes most of you to kill 5. More than one way to “gitgud” at PVP.

lol good luck killing anyone even remotely competent with that build. And it's not even among the top 10 most cancerous setups I've seen this patch. Not even close.

Of all the problems Cryo and BG’s have I would absolutely love for “everyone to run this build”. This set up would actually take some skill to make work reliability with any sort of MMR.

Stop. Play the build your scared of. Then maybe post again your personal results on how OP the build is. Until then you might want to actually take on board some of the comments in this thread.

This is the best advice to give anyone who comes to these forums asking for nerfs.
Try it out for yourself. See if you can replicate the results before you start crying for nerfs. You might be suprised.

You can give a good player a bad build and they can still do well. You can give a bad player a amazing build and they will still fail with it. Even with all the proc sets and people claiming everything in this game is a carry, there is still such a thing as degree of skill in ESO.

Best advice ever....you think something is op and needs a nerf? TRY IT FIRST and see if you still feel the same..

Dude. Ive got a ton of time in BGs and pvp in this game. The control of 60% spammed snares and the immobilization fail have been a VERY sore point for me as of late.

The CC from Parma snares and immobilization paired with stuns on a separate timer is completely out of control.

Now add to this a basically unkillable build with the potential, albeit difficult, for huge burst is so game breaking and annoying I cannot bear it for one second longer.

The ability to be unkillable while exerting THAT much control over the fight is bad enough. To add that kind of burst potential is just ridiculously broken.

If you are fine with this type of garbage in 2019 than I truly pity you.

    I miss WAR online
    I miss DAoC
I miss eso from 2015 when tri regen drinks were meta. When I was able to go 1v5 and win. You know, before proc sets propped up weak players.

Now it's monster set X + proc set Y + proc set Z + infused oblivion and phys for stam weapons = skill when launched in a field of 60% snare + immobs spam + stuns + + +

This game is now officially trash.

Even with how bad lag is in ESO, lag in WAR was 10 x worse. Plus game balance was 10 x worse also.

    This.

I’ve tried building super awesome unkillable tanks. First, it’s ridiculously tedious and games are supposed to be fun. Second, you’re still quite killable if you face a lot of people. Third, if you actually can achieve a truly unkillable build after a minute everyone will just not bother with you.

Conversely, I’ve spend over 100k on respecs this week simply to find out that the best combination of survivability and damage for my Magplar is still to ignore what I’m “supposed” to do. I survive much longer in LA with 2 massive shields than I can in HA with 30k+ resists and in LA I can actually kill other players.

I would agree with a lot of what you guys are saying with regard to the burst being very tough to land.

The main issue I have is the degree of control this build brings with very little risk. The cherry on the top is the situational burst which will drop most players with just a tiny bit of lead up pressure.

There is no tough choice to make with these builds. It's lame and saps the fun out of the game for everyone who cant bring themselves to run such cheese.

Also I think we are all ignoring the elephant in the room in the BGs if you have 3 other bursty team mates this simply destroys the game for the other players. Soo much control with no risk.

It just turns every fight into even more of an aoe, proc set, CC, cluster fu*& session. Just spam spin to win and be a warden..

Its not even a matter of how hard it is to get this stuff to work. Roots/snares are a problem. High damage from procs with no regard to building to be offensive in the first place is a problem. If they want armor to have unique abilities, fine; but it should require to build for it to do as much damage as they are capable of. Not just go as many HPs as possible and root, snare, and stun until it can land.

Friendly reminder that retreating maneuvers exists and gives immunity to all snares and roots. Support skills are underrated
undervalued tools and that pvp is team based and you should not be hesitate to coordinate and lean on your team mates to cover niches your build is unable to fill.

Another friendly reminder, use of proc-sets is has been and always will be a valid playstyle and is here to stay. Assigning values of morality and honor to a video game ensemble is ridiculous. If that makes you upset you need to reevaluate your emotional investment priorities.

Unfriendly reminder. Nerf threads are pure salt. Everybody dies. If you are dying a lot to something, avoid that thing or fix your build, because that is what is within your power. Constant nerf lobbying is largely going to be ignored. That's not to say constructive feed back isn't important, but I'm pretty sure no stock is put into the claims of the umpteenth screeching reeee thread written in barely legible pidgin. Not saying that's what this thread is, I just thought I'd put that out there.

8.1k stamina for snare/immobilize removal where you instantly get snared again after it. No one can sustain this.

And cyro is for everything. Solo/smal and big groups.

Ballgroup alreay have at least 2 players where there only role is to stam rapid with 6k stam recovery and 0 damage. Not a fun job at all.

Just compare how many skills in this game apply snare/immobilize on you and then look how many remove it or give immunity to it. Its a joke.
