Performance in Cyrodill sucks. I PvP anyway. Now it’s gonna be worse, for an EVENT? I don’t have that mount, I don’t want that mount. I’m a star made knight. That’s the TITLE I WEAR EVERY DAY. Omg that event sucked. Come on ZOS CANCEL IT. NOBODY WANTS IT!
Pick a different campaign it’s that simple

Go and read all the replies in this thread, come back and apologise for being wrong and admit that you don’t speak for the community.
JumpmanLane wrote: »Now I have to suffer even MORE lag and play a different campaign because SOMEONE at ZOS thought having an extended PvP event would be fun for ANYBODY when performance in Cyrodill is crap
its worth noting that cyro performance is at possibly an all time low right now.... not the best time for a pvp event

OP does not represent the community, this event is one of best and enjoyed!

The best players in PvP I know in this GAME, HATE mid-year mayhem. They all told me when I was all excited about it that I’d be disappointed and I was.
If you like to PvP and can actually do it well outside of a Zerg fulla healers (and maybe play something other than a stamden) and don’t pvdooor or xv1 much. Mid-Year is dreaded event. One is one too many lol.

No. You do not have to.
If you believe different, it may be time for you to talk to someone that you trust about why you feel you have to.
Good luck!

People who actually enjoy PvP TOLERATE Mid-Year Mayhem once a year in the HOPE that ZOS improved performance in a years time. It ain’t BEEN THAT LONG. ZOS cant even PRETEND that ESO has 99 problems and lag ain’t one lol.
For those who don’t pvp and don’t enjoy it, an extended mayhem event ain’t gonna change their minds.
Look, I get it, asking ZOS to improve the performance of their games is asking too much. Geeze, keep your events, just leave us to the lag.
Or fine, give us an extended PvP event but please please please don’t give us anything else. No more events til April maybe, and you can hold onto any new chapters or DLCS whi’ Ya at it.
Sometimes I wonder why I still PLAY this game lmao.

NOT doing pvp for any reason. Period.

Here's an idea:
Switch your PvP campaign to avoid the Vivec lag.
You're welcome.
(Waiting for incoming excuse ... not limited to (a) I earned my champion points, (b) I can't play with my friends in a non-Vivec campaign, (c) I don't like it when others think outside the box, (d) choose some other excuse.)

Mid Year Celebration - 16th Mid Year (16th June)
Today is the 16th of Mid Year, the traditional day for the Mid Year Celebration. Perhaps to alleviate the annual news of the Emperor's latest tax increase, the temples offer blessings for only half the donation they usually suggest. Many so blessed feel confident enough to enter the dungeons when they are not fully prepared, so this joyous festival has often been known to turn suddenly into a day of defeat and tragedy.

Mid Year means "middle of the year".
In RL pagan calendar that is June 21st, Summer Solstice... Remember Shakespeare Mid-Summer Nights Dream? It wasn't in January!
In Tamriel it is 16th Mid Year, ( 16th June).Mid Year Celebration - 16th Mid Year (16th June)

By the end of the New Life, I was SOOOOO tired of events, I have gone from 2, 3, to 6-7 hrs a day playing to 30 minutes if I even log on.
Attention Zo$!!... Events like this weeks apart, and in some cases as the last 4 we had, a few days between events, are just a burn out.
Please turn control of the game back to the Devs that create the game and stop with the marketing grind of "Special Event! Log in EVERY day for 5 year old prizes and a new MOUNT that will take 2 years to evolve!!
My 2 drakes! Huzzah!!!!

You know you're not forced to do the events right?
In no way does ZOS say that you have to do the events, so however burnt out you may be... that's on you... not ZOS.
