NOBODY wants an extended Mid-Mayhem Event!

AT ALL! Who comes up with these ideas? Like for REAL!

People who actually enjoy PvP TOLERATE Mid-Year Mayhem once a year in the HOPE that ZOS improved performance in a years time. It ain’t BEEN THAT LONG. ZOS cant even PRETEND that ESO has 99 problems and lag ain’t one lol.

For those who don’t pvp and don’t enjoy it, an extended mayhem event ain’t gonna change their minds.

Look, I get it, asking ZOS to improve the performance of their games is asking too much. Geeze, keep your events, just leave us to the lag.

Or fine, give us an extended PvP event but please please please don’t give us anything else. No more events til April maybe, and you can hold onto any new chapters or DLCS whi’ Ya at it.

Sometimes I wonder why I still PLAY this game lmao.

There’s going to be more events I’m afraid, all due the mount and it’s evolutions. Only 1 new berry or feather introduced with each event and needing 4 berries/feathers to evolve or acquire the mount. With 4 evolved mounts and a base, the events will keep coming & coming

Apples and oranges. Cyrodiil and Battlegrounds are two completely different flavours of PVP, so much so that some players might not even enjoy one, when they enjoy the other.

Pushing people to a different avenue of PVP because the game has beyond crippling performances issues is not a solution, either.

Eh, well. I don't "want" pvp events period. But hey - this one gives me the option to get the first berry. So that's a good thing. The pvp stuff can take a hike though. NOT going there.

It isn't entirely unreasonable considering the servers can barely handle the current pops within PVP. Throw at least 1.5x the pop at the servers, I'm going to be surprised if there isn't outright instance crashes every so often. The simple truth is the servers just cannot handle the event, so why hold it? At the least, why hold it in campaigns which are known to be laggy messes, ie Vivec?

Remember that the PVE events didn't exactly go over flawlessly, either.

Alright. The game is not flawless, especially PvP side, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't get some events.
To be honest i'm not so much into PvP, just playing sporadically some battleground, but during the Mid-year Mayhem and IC celebration, i really enjoy going Cyrodiil and assault some keeps.

I am nobody and i want this event, especially since the pve one that they had to take the server down to fix made it so i couldn’t play on my day off

Oh.... hmmm. I should perhaps point out that even if ZOS does something silly (like saying if you don't pvp it doesn't matter how many tickets you have, you can't get the berry) I will NOT pvp. I actually am perfectly happy with the nascent indrik the way it is.

NOT doing pvp for any reason. Period.

I want an extended midyear mayhem event.

Vivec literally can't get any laggier. Poplock is poplock.

Historically they open extra camps so it's possible to find 1/2/3 bar camps if that's what you're looking for...after a few days the performance is better than ever, because nobody is in those extra camps except for some resource flippers.

You’re wrong. I, the OP LOVE PvP. I’m pvping RIGHT NOW. I tolerated Mid-year Mayhem a few months ago because it made Vivec unplayable. I HATED mid-year because of THAT.

Performance in Cyrodill sucks. I PvP anyway. Now it’s gonna be worse, for an EVENT? I don’t have that mount, I don’t want that mount. I’m a star made knight. That’s the TITLE I WEAR EVERY DAY. Omg that event sucked. Come on ZOS CANCEL IT. NOBODY WANTS IT!

No events is better than Cyrodiil being unplayable. That's the OP's point.

At this point, I don't give a crap about PVP events, PVP DLC, or even balancing in PVP. What I give a crap about is an actually playable game. Server stability is absolutely abysmal. Performance issues are plaguing all active Cyrodiil campaigns, the game is riddled with bugs that adversely affect the game, certain skills are genuinely broken.

Events, DLC, balancing, all that doesn't matter if you can't play the game. Fix the bugs, fix the servers, then worry about the polish.

I don't want a "midyear mayhem" My reason is probably different than other peoples reason but.... School really picks up hard for me this semester and I don't have time for the midyear mayhem, and I really like this event. I expected it to be ... I don't know... MIDYEAR? as usual? In the summer? Not at the beginning of the year????? Just WHY? Let's double up on events that make no sense, sha'll we? Instead of going to the thinking table and coming up with something original? >.<

Switch your PvP campaign to avoid the Vivec lag.

My question is why is your opinion or requests any more important than any other person's? You don't dictate what and how this game handles things.

You know who would want/need an extended pvp event? People who don't normally pvp, but would to get a pvp only reward during the event. Since there are many people who only get to play a few hours a day the events being extended allows them to get the reward they may want.

Take a break, go do something else, or pvp as you want away from the inevitable zergs and low skilled players that are there for the event.

It's once a year, come down off the mountain and throw the event pvpers a bone.

Lol, I used to be "scared" of PvP too, but had lots of fun and earned a million AP during the Midyear Mayhem. I'm looking forward to the event!

The uninformed should be told that there's lots of ways to earn alliance points, and you don't necessarily have to get into one on one brawls to be successful. You can run around healing your teammates and never once have to cast spells on or fight the enemy directly if you don't want to. You can repair walls and doors far away from the battle. Or you can use ballistas and trebuchets and bomb the enemy from hundreds of yards away. And you can cast special shields over your team's siege equipment to keep them from taking full damage. Plus there's enemy NPCs you can fight if you want to, instead of players. Or you can just stay out of the way and stand and watch from a distance, and be in the right place when your army takes over a resource and get points and XP.

Just try it! You may kick yourself for not trying it sooner and discovering the fun!
