Are there updates regarding Steam Client fixes?

I'm having a difficult time finding a timeline or updates regarding Steam client fixes. I'm coming back to the game and these bugs were not nearly as present 1.5 years ago. (Or at least I didn't really experience them)

Now it crashes and I can't login without restarting the game 2-3 times... unplayable...

Is there a way to logon my steam account (that has all the DLC, etc.) without those steam issues? Also is there a log showing the progress of the devs for the fixes?

Pretty much Zos is just monitoring for critical issues this week. I do not think they are answering threads.

Someone here may have some advice for you though.

Thanks for the reply. I see, so basically kind of damage control'ish "Do not admit to this" mode? I just read a bunch of Steam reviews describing my issues. It's strange I never had these issues before. I don't really have a 1337 account so restarting would not be the biggest of issues but I still have the 2 expansions, a few DLCs and 1.5M  . Hopefully there's a way I can use the steam account off of steam.

I have not seen one reply from Zos outside of moderators and even that is less.

If you are wondering if Zos will make a change so players do not have to log in via steam, I doubt that. I would think there is a contract that lets Steam keep all control.

Hopefully Zos and Steam do find a solution for obvious reasons, but again, I do not think an answer will be given this week.

Next time there's a sale on the game through ZOS, pick it up, and then use the ZOS launcher. I bought the game through steam (friend told me it was the way to go) and had HORRIBLE issues connecting and staying connected. Got the game through ZOS on sale for $10 a month or so later, and once I (with help from ZOS CS to get things sorted with login) was able to log in outside of steam things have been SO much better.

Hate steam. Never using it again for anything.

Steam is fantastic though. This is literally the only game I ever had this issue with. And this comes from a guy that has over 850 games on Steam.

Steam is great for getting games pretty much only available there.

It does not make sense to put a third party between you and the game when it is not required.

BTW, I have seen steam charge a higher price for a game.
