After following the prompts from the pre-order as instructed, and above. I was billed the day after signing up, this causes a question. If you signed up right away, because you enjoyed the game did you miss out on the 30 days included time or is that for physical copies only?

You will be refunded and billed again once the (now) 29 days of free time have expired.

It's just an authorization, the money will be put back into your account. You won't actually be charged till next month. If you used paypal it shows a charge, but you will be refunded the 14.99, it's how paypal works.

Its just an authorization. It will be posted back in your account from a few hours to a few days depending on your bank. Not being rude but there are like 20 threads about this use search sometimes :)

You aren't actually being charged. Some companies but an authorization charge of a dollar on a card. Zenimax did 15. Your money was not taken, you were not actually billed.

As a follow up, to this, I have been billed the monthly fee, and though it is an authorization, the credit has not shown in over 24hrs. Is there a standard time in which to wait, or should I be concerned?

Preauths through a bank are handled by your bank. Contact them if you feel overly concerned as to when it will be released. They'll know, not us.
