✭✭Server merging in my experience with managing servers would be incredibly difficult as the player data/permissions are all located on one server and there's no simple flip a switch and all that transfers smoothly/on a nice time-frame. The other part is I'm quite sure ESO is using mega-servers so realistically there's no reason to merge servers as that is usually used for reducing them due to plenty of small populated servers.Edited by MaxwellC on December 26, 2018 1:42AM不動の Steadfast - Unwavering

✭If they would allow for keyboard and mouse optimization for the console than you could put PC and PS4 together. Sony already supports mouse and keyboard, it is on the game company to allow use of it. Fortnite allows M+K on the PS4 without a XIM4, just plug them into the USB ports and play.

I have seen no need for merging. I usually play on the EU server in the middle of the night there. It seems fairly healthy to me. The NA server seems almost too full. Maybe it's time for gigaservers.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Initially they only had one for PC, but then they realized that people playing from the other side of the world had really bad latency so they made another cluster in the EU. They followed trough with consoles. It's not gonna happen.
The game launched with two servers. One for EU and one for NA.
I expect the quoted post might be due to the fact that the EU server was originally located in NA for ease of access. In fact both servers were near the Maryland offices at launch. Soon after both were relocated, the EU server to EU and the NA server to middle NA.
But there was always two different PC servers starting from day one of this game's launch.0
