I'm not going to change my character's race because I don't make characters based around a numerical advantage. Anyone who does is screwing themselves over because it's obvious that in an always online game with competitive elements the developers will have to constantly iterate the numbers to placate the players asking for a balance that never existed and will never exist.
Played an argonian in Daggerfall.
Played an argonian in Morrowind.
Played an argonian in Oblivion.
Played an argonian in Skyrim.
The only way I wouldn't play an argonian in ESO is if Zenimax deleted the race.
Many people who care about trying to best the best of the best, you do things like pick a certain race.

They're going to make a fortune off of race change tokens after this. No way they give them away for free.
Expect Altmer, Dunmer, Redguard, and Argonian to be nerfed into the ground, which means every endgame player will be buying tokens to switch to the new meta races. That's a ton of revenue.

Or you could adapt, overcome and keep your character as is and ignore "meta" instead of acting like they're going to absolutely destroy whatever race your character(s) is(are) and crying for compensation.

Adapt. If you can't adapt to changing metrics in a game, how do you think you're going to adapt in whatever your job is?
How does one adapt to numerical stat changes? One race will always be better than the rest at a specific role. Nerfing one race/buffing another one will shuft the meta to that race. If you want to continue being optimal in your role, you'll need to change race.
