I want my wolves, bears or indrik to be seen as wild creatures.
And even the tamed mount NPCs in stables (in cities of the open world of Tamriel) are not harnassed like that.

What I would also like is if your mount could relax, more like a pet does, when in your house.
So, if it is a Senche, or a Wolf, for example, if it could sit down and lie down and so on.
Not just stand there, rigidly, all the time.

The one pulled up to the curb in front of the house with a cart behind it, ready to go to market, needs to have tack on.0 -

Wait...what? The models are in game. We already literally mount them in open-world where there's that a simple option to check (display speed/stamina/carry) I really don't think the animal model exists only as a merged version with the saddleI would very much like for it to be taken a step further. Most of what I would call the more realistic mounts - so, leopard, lion and tiger senches, wolves (of various colours), elks etc, in natural colours and textures and without added particle effects - are, also, static assets.
So, no new models needed for them, either.
In fact, presumably, they just lifted the in-game models and stuck tack on them, to create these mounts, in the first place?
Most of them will therefore already have sitting, lying and/or grazing and walking about animations, too.
Most of the very flashy, gem-only mounts aren't in-game as static assets, I agree.
However, as they cost real money (often, quite a lot of real money), there would, presumably, be more incentive to produce a tack-free version of them, for use in housing, anyway?
