What is this CP 160 I hear about? How is that different than what I hear about 750 CP and 3600 CP?
This whole CP thing is mucho confusing.
Cp160 is the gear level cap, once you get there, you will no longer out level gear.
Cp 750 was the limit of cp that could be assigned two dlc ago. The assignable limit is now 810. It increases by 30 every dlc cycle.
Cp3600 is the absolute cap on earnable cp.
Just keep playing, you'll get to those numbers eventually.0 -

I play healers or DPS often for vet dungeons and trials (NA, CP810+). I play mostly elves or Argonians.
I primarily play Damage-Based stuff in PvP, but occasionally I'll play something tanky or got the heals.
I also love gaining more knowledge both metaphysical and mundane regarding TES lore.
I also occasionally role-play, but I prefer playing the game.0 -
SvariBK✭✭Ye I just played the game did the daily random dungeon etc etc. Give it some time. I also got some cps grinding Tel'Var stones in the sewers coz I made training gear so I earned Tel'Var and exp at the same time, similar with when I pulled people through the catacombs you help them getting a new char to level 50 and benefit from it aswel with training gear plus evtl exp buffs you could use. But playing the game is rather efficient and not as draing as grinding is.BK-22 PC EU Player

✭✭✭Ran 6 of my 8 characters all the way through Cadwells Gold. Did all overland quests and cleared complete zones for all 6.
Sitting at CP 841 and have never set foot in a group dungeon (except for the ones that I have soloed on my Stamden), have never been in a 12 man trial, or PvP.
And I DO NOT grind. I can't stand the thought of running in a small circle killing the same crap over and over.

15 max level characters with all dungeons done on normal, all world bosses an dolmens done, all have completed Craglorn and Craglorn trials
I would rather poke my eye out than grind in a circle for hours and hours

✭✭✭✭Started doing trials around ~200cp, leaped and bounded up to 400cp within a handful of weeks, finished every single gosh darn quest in this entire game while completing Caldwell’s Silver and Gold, did BGs, did PvP, started completing hardmodes in dungeons, and before I knew it I was capped out and still gaining cp
Even just doing my usual alt-questing, farming, and random dungeons, sometimes pledges, I’m already at high enough cp that I could leave the game for a year and still be at cp cap when I came back0 -

✭Pretty slowly, actually. Started playing at console launch and hit 810 earlier this month. I don't grind, I just play whatever I feel like doing. I usually don't even mount up outside of Cyrodiil. Not in a hurry to get to 840 either. I kinda miss having points to spend when I earn them.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Played the game, granted I did an streak of random dungeons during last new year festival to get to max cp, this was after seeing how much I got from the undaunted event.
In part this was in part to get skillpoint and level undaunted on alts but the only time I grinded cp
Took me around a year to get there 920 something now. And no don't grind cp unless you are also doing something you enjoy or need to do for other reasons at least not if above cp300 you are likely to get very bored and quit the game.Edited by zaria on December 22, 2018 12:05AMGrinding just make you go in circles.

✭✭I was within 10 of the cap when CP took over from Vet Ranks. The cap was 501CP and I reached it in a few days.Now I just play the game and am over 1100.Australian on PS4 NA server.

✭✭✭✭✭Mostly by questing over the period of a year and a half. I did all of Cadwell's Silver and Gold, which basically just means doing all the main quests from each country/kingdom/area after you've already completed the MAIN main quest.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭the closest I came to grinding was dolmen circuit for decon jewelry/leveling fighter's guild line (and even that I can at most handle half an hour of before I get bored and go do somethng else. for jewelry, I gave up and just went guild trader shopping) . aside from that - just playing the game and making sure to keep xp buff on during double xp events. master writs amusingly - level you up like crazy and i did a LOT of those due to being into housing (furnishing recipes etc) (playing the game for me entails ALL the questing. especialy since so many of the furnishings and dyes are behind quest completions

Elvent✭✭✭✭I only grinded when I had enlightenment, mostly through quests and dolmens in auridon, would keep doing them in a chain with groups and sometimes added a xp scroll when I had max enlightenment, then logged off and leveled a new character or played a different game waiting for enlightenment to build up again.Edited by Elvent on December 23, 2018 6:12AM0 -

WTAF ... I have two characters completed Caldwell gold
8 in total levelers to 50 n then done pretty much nothing I just use them to work out how to combat skill from them ... I should do more with them
Basically I play 1 character and I'm CP 1000

✭I'm CP1042 and I started playing early last June. At some point there was a glitch that allowed you to continue earning the premium undaunted rewards from the daily random dungeon. If you were vote kicked from the dungeon after beating it or had 2 people leave before you, you could do another random for that sweet 100K xp. I did that all day every day until they patched it out.Xbox NA healer main
