This is how most players found a single wasp.
ZoS, have you seriously not listened to any of the complaints about this event from last year? Or do you think this is a good way for players to complete a quest?
The strange thing is you knew this going in, its always been able to be triggered by any wasp and yet you still go to the circles?
I have done this event now 19 times, every single time there is someone in zone telling people that any wasp will do.
The same thing with the mammoths for murkmire prepper, any mammoth would do.
What they should or shouldn't "Fix" I have no idea I'm not in control nor do I have the delusion that my opinion matters to them.
Do the event, realize that those circles on all these kill/collect quests are general markers and take the 20 seconds it takes to find a mob outside those markers and see if it works.
In a perfect world this wouldn't be an issue as the quest would be altered to explain this, but this is ZOS we are talking about here. Do you want to scream into a canyon or complete the event?

But how is someone supposed to know where to find "any" wasp or wolf? Unless someone has made a new DC character recently, they wouldn't know where to find wasps and wolves on the island. There are only a few spots where they spawn.

You are right, the Betnikh map is even bigger than Elder Scrolls 5 Skyrim. And there is no chat, no other players and no internet. You are bascially helpless on a never ending adventure. Turn Back!

Ah for the days when you could write a letter to one of the gaming magazines asking for help on a particular quest or adventure, and with any luck yours would be one of the three or four requests published in a few months time, probably with an enquiry as to whether any other reader could help?
I even had a phone call one Sunday lunchtime from a young gamer asking if I could help him with a puzzle he was stuck on in the text adventure I'd had published - I was so impressed at his nerve that I let my meal go cold while I explained it to him!
Sadly those days are gone, and it's all instant help through ingame chat and forums!

I dont know what you are doing but i did the event quests yesterday with 6 chars and today again with 4 i think and i never needed more than 5 minutes for this quest. Also you can move away from the marked area, the wasps outside count!
